Let's say you hated PBF and wanted to see him get beat. Who would you match him up with?

At 147 and below....nobody. At 154 he could lose to a guy like Sergei Dzindurik though. Big bastard who uses his jab a ton. Unrealistic fight but that would be my pick.

i dont think it will take all that much to beat floyd at 154. oscar clearly wasnt the best guy at 154 nor was he the biggest.

Oscar was beating the f*cker's ass when he was committing to his jab. Then he disbanded it completely for whatever damn reason. :dunno:

Paul Williams. Not that I think he's that great and he's not really that proven but that guy uses what he has, his height very very well.

Maybe. He looked solid and filled-out @ 140 in the Gatti fight. Don't know in the last 2 years if he's outgrown the weight-class. The bigger fights are at 147 anyway.

Despite his training habits, Floyd isn't known as a Bernard Hopkins when it comes to eating habits.

All the big welterweights,..Williams, Margarito and Cintron are too dangerous for Fraud to risk, he'll run from all of those,.. if Fraud went to 'manchester' to fight Hatton, that too would be risky, as it is, Hatton presents a degree of risk due to his wreckless foul fluctuated style and ability to keep up with Fraud's feet,..Shane Mosely is also quick, durable, strong and powerful,...Joshua Clottey has quick powerful hands, a tough pressuring style, and excellent defense.

All of them, pose a GREAT threat to Fraud.

But for some reason I don't think Cotto can close the gap, nor do I think he has the workrate, or strength of chin to stay on Fraud's arse,..Frankly, until Cotto fights a live body, that isn't a proven, glass-chinned loser who stops throwing punches like Zab Judah  ,..it's hard to say how good he really is...I'm just telling the truth, Cotto has alot of sensationalist hype, and is popular, but he hasn't proved anything much at welterweight that a scrub like Baldomir already hasn't, there are too many strong dark horses in this division, and he should fight atleast one of them.

Just give it a few months.

If Cotto-Mosley falls through, then your boy will suffer a 2nd straight L, this time at the hands of a short stocky guy rather than a 6'2 freak of nature.

It's going to be very difficult to beat Margarito with an inferior workrate and a shakey chin,..Cotto isn't fast or nimble, he'll have to try and take the bull by the horns, he always seems to fancy himself as a relentless hard-arse anyway,..Judah went 11 rounds,..Oktay Urkal wen't 11 competitive rounds,..Malignaggi went 12 competitive rounds,...this fight is probably going the distance,..but with the frequency Cotto is buzzed during the course of a fight, coupled with Margarito's high-output, and good finishing abilities,.... :crafty: Oh yes, I don't mind indulging over this.

Floyd has already vacated his title at 154 and made it clear that he'll be fighting at welter.

yeah. Judah proved nothing. especially for anyone who fought him at 147.

still, Quintana was a good win IMO, even if he wasn't the biggest puncher.

if the Cotto/Margarito fight goes on, that will certainly be a test. one he won't pass.

Yeah but the dark-horses Im referring too are fighters deliberately slandered by Fraud-groupies because Margarito beat them already,..Cintron has gone on to look like a force,.. Clottey gave Chico a fatal beating,.. Quintana might be alright, but I haven't heard anything from him since,..and his best win in Joel Julio, couldn't even apparently defeat "Zab Judah's bitch" in Cosme Rivera, so you see, it sort've goes around in a circle a little bit,..Cotto hasn't proved much.

    Wlad Klitschko with these rules

    *no 3 knockdown rule
    *referee cannot stop the fight
    *corner cannot stop the fight
    *doctor cannot stop the fight

I would like to see floyd KTFO or just leave the ringt by himself
either way no excuses for floyd :)

 Great post Kauki and great point about those big welters being a risk although I think Floyd easily beats Margarito and Cintron but Clottey's speed defense and durability could present problems for him. I also agree that Cotto stylewise wouldn't stand a chance against Floyd.

My choice like others have already stated would be P.Williams based on how well he uses his advantages correctly.

Paul Williams and Mosely. Both beat Floyd at 147.

Cotto/Floyd at 147 is a great fight and one I'd love to see. Everyone picks Cotto to lose and he just keeps winning.:nono:

    Paul Williams
    P Williams
    Paul W.
    "The Punisher"
    Paul "The Punisher" Williams

the list goes on and on :cheer:
