I'll take Baldomir here by decision.
I thought Vernon Forrest at one time could have been a real special welterweight champion, and he has been a big bust, IMO.

 

He is. Vern is just awesomer.

 

He took Shanes "O" and at least fought Mayorga twice.

Thats a whole lot more than Floyd got involved in at 147.

Now, you can love floyd, hate him etc....but he made precious little war at 147. Vern was pretty well advanced by the time they gave him his shot.

 

I wouldn't say that he's been a bust, he's a two division champion, and like OC said, gave Mosley (pfp top 3 at the time) his first two losses.

 

Well, obviously with this win over 2007's answer to Carlos Monzon, yes, he's a big time playa again.

In fact, I'd say he's Floyds next opponent, once Ricky stops Floyd from wearing Winnings gloves.:laughing:
