Maybe you were just a victim of circumstance and it was just a coincidence with the times I read from your posts. Your new perceived honesty will be factored in on your overall statements in the future

He is going to lose if he turns his back and waits for the ref to step in, the only thing that will step in is rickys left hook, and the only thing that will step out are Le Frauds 5th and 6th vertebrae.

like I told everyone in the prediction thread, this fight WAS entertaining. I did predict a KD but damn, who would have thought Carlos's chin was made of fucking titanium:lol: .

Forrest can unify at 154, a fight between him and Paul Williams has my interest. I wouldn't mind seeing Forrest get a fight with Oscar neither.

Agreed the uppercut and follow up combinations from the ropes would have put a lot of fighters down and out. Vernon looked excellent. Now nobody will fight him again.

Vernon did look great. The power shots he hit Baldomir with would have sent most fighters to sleep. Could you imagine if Zab took just a few of them:lol: I liked the fact that even when the fight was sewn up Vernon kept throwing the big punches, going for a KO or stoppage. I thought he might have been able to get it in the last of the 12th. But Carlos is just a fucking tank.

Vernon has some choices, he could go for being the man at 154 and collect all the belts up, and with that he could call out Floyd for a pretty good payday. Something tells me he will go for a fight with Oscar though.Wouldn't be bad for him, if he stopped Oscar it could be huge for him.

Vernon looking great, might have had something to do with his opponents flaws, mainly, no speed, no power, no strength, no skills, virtually no attributes, just an enormous pink boulder on a pair of aging lightweight shoulders...in other words, a typical oppurtunistic Fraud opponent,.. I don't think Baldomir should retire, he would be IDEAL to give upcoming prospects rounds, he'll make a fortune off it, "spunge journeyman" are the most valuable of all, a bit of ring-work without any danger, give prospects the experience of going 12 rounds with thier first shut-out decision victory.

Great post, Carlos is the ideal gatekeeper. He would be the Larry Donald of the WW's:lol: But I think Carlos has made enough to live very comfortably down in Argentina for the rest of his life. I am sure he can live of promotional deals and maybe as a trainer down there as well.

You never seem to want to give Carlos any credit Kauki. I do realize its because of you passionate hatred for Floyd. But the fact is Carlos beat Judah and Gatti. He is a former World champ, he's just not great. No shame in that, its pretty much the same level your boy Margarito is at as well. :stir:

Carlos could get a matchup with Margarito in a minute. Could be a decent comeback fight for Tony and a very winnable retirement fight for Carlos. I'd watch:popcorn:
