By David Finger at ringside Super welterweight Don Juan Futrell (20-3-1, 10 KOs) scored an upset split decision over former #1 contender Hector Camacho Jr. (42-3—1, 24 KOs) on Saturday night at the Avi Casino in Laughlin, Nevada. Camacho came in woefully out of shape at 161 pounds and was outworked by the 150-pound Futrell all night long. At the end, Camacho was gassed and bleeding above both eyes. Scores were 76-75, 76-75 Futrell, 76-75 Camacho. Futrell was deducted a point in round six for a low blow. Promoter: Zef Ramirez. He's not that much of a waste. Cabitcho was never anything special. Even at his best, he was nothing more than a poor man's version of Zab. He couldnt carry his dad's spit bucket. Even had he stayed in shape, he wouldnt have beaten any of the elite at 140. Guys like Tszyu, Judah, Cotto, Hatton, Floyd, would have butchered him. Even guys like Harris, Witter, Gatti, and Corley would have kicked his ass. Bojado is much more of a waste than Camachita.
I do get your point, but its just kind of funny to me. The arguement turns to who is a bigger waste Bojado or Camacho Jr. Kind of like asking who is uglier Rosanne Barr or Rosie O'Donnel.::

It's easily Bojado. At least Jr has an excuse, it's in his genes. Pop Camach passed that waste of talent down to his son. What's Bojado's excuse? Tortillas? I get sick of the fact that guys like these can lounge around until their bank account gets low and then call for a fight in which they're going to put in minimal effort in training and in the actual fight. Hopefully this will be the last we see of Jr, and after Bojado gets beat, same with him.
