Forrest/Margarito is a toss up. Depends on the weight. I think Forrest would struggle making 147 and Tony would be stronger. At 154 Forrest will outbox him.

Floyd outboxes Forrest. Forrest might have his moments but Floyd is still faster than him. It won't be pretty but Floyd doesn't seem to care about that and will get an easy W outboxing Forrest.

Williams would give Forrest a tough time. I think it would be similar to the Williams/Margarito fight even though Forrest is a better fighter than Tony. He would struggle enough to end up with a close decision at the end.

I think Forrest beats Cintron. I dont' care if Cintron has a belt. He still hasn't beaten an elite fighter to be considered that good. The only time Cintron steped up he got destroyed by Tony. Until he proves me otherwise I pick all the big names at 147-154 to beat him.

In actuality, Margarito did block a hell of a lot of Williams punches. He did have a slight argument about the outcome however wrong he may have been.

I didn't see the fight last night. I could have got up early to see it or slept in. I chose to sleep in thinking it would be another boring clinchfest. Good call on that one hunh?

I think Forrest beats Margarito. The heights and reaches are probably equal which would make it a skills fight and we all know who wins in that department. I think Williams, Floyd and Clottey all beat Forrest though. The real question is does Forrest beat Cotto? Me thinks he does.

Yeah but, you said virtually the exact same thing about him before he fought De La Hoya, and Oscar is known for a better jab than Forrest as well as being faster and a harder hitter...

Come on dude..you know that Floyd beating Oscar has limited the amount of shit that you can say about him.

how was i supposed to know ODH would abandon his jab? you saw what happened when he threw it, right? i think it's reasonable to assume that Forrest would not abandon his jab the way ODH did. but if he did, then yeah, PBF might out-point him.

    so to summarize,

Forrest (abandons his jab) vs. PBF - PBF SD 12

Forrest (with jab) vs. PBF - Forrest UD 12

yep. Mayweather fans have officially gone off the deep end. they literally can't imagine PBF's losing. does anyone realize how troubling that is as far as our ability to have meaningful conversation with any of them?

that's your problem right there. you place far too much importance on winning. no fighter in unbeatable. no fighter is in a class of his own. so when people start claiming otherwise, it's a clear-cut case of careful management and media hype.

I know I underrate Margarito. But I can't help it. I have watched him several times and all I think is "very ordinary". Maybe he will suprise me. But something tells me in two years he will be a distant memory held only by Kauki

The Thing is,REED ISN'T Praising Floyd by Saying that he Could "Stink Out the Joint & Beat ANY Fighter N the World,ANY Weight Class"...

Do YOU want to See a Replay of Floyd-Baldomir,Cause REED most Certainly DOESN'T...

What REED is saying is,Fighting the Way he Did Against Baldomir,Floyd COULD "Beat" Anybody...He could Land 1 or 2 Meaningful Shots a Round, then RUN for 2 Minutes & 30 Seconds,en Route to an Utterly BORING Decision Win...

& the HIGHER N Weight Floyd Fought, the SLOWER & more DELIBERATE his Opponents would B...

Again,REED WASN'T Praising Floyd by Saying that...Floyd Mayweather ISN'T Unbeatable, but if he Flat-Out REFUSES to Engage his Opponent, there's NATHAN Any Fighter N the World can Do about It

    Sure,he could RUN from Wlad...

REED Could See Floyd RUNNING for a Minute & a Half,FEINTING @ Wlad to Get Wlad to Throw his Jab,then Jabbing Wlad to the Body (Cause he'd Need a Footstool & a Running Start to Hit Wlad N the Head:lol: ), B 4 Running the Remainder of the Round...

This Fight would Set a CompuBox Record for FEWEST Punches Landed, but Floyd would Land MORE of them & Other than During the Ref's Instructions,Wlad would NEVER Lay a Glove on Floyd...

It'd B the LEAST Impressive "Performance" EVER,but Floyd COULD Win it...Floyd would Insist on a 30 ft Ring & he'd Land ALL of his Shots to Wlads CHEST & Midsection...

    agREED...

REED has Seen Margarito Nearly 10 Times (Including ALL of his Meaningful Bouts) & has Come Away w/the SAME Opinion...

    "VERY ORDINARY"...

His "Power" is OVERRATED,his Defense is ATROCIOUS & he's as Slow as Cold Molasses...

I have the same opinion too, I first saw him years ago, before he became overrated, and have held the same opinion since. At world level, he is average. Nothing special at all.

    Stop generalizing.

That's a comment REED made, he was probably smoking weed. I'm smoking too but I've never said Floyd is unbeateable. Even less at this higher weights. But you probably shouldn't talk trash about Reed, before getting smashed by Corrales and Hatton you also though Castillo was unbeateable.

Margarito is tough and doesn't suck as much as he appears to on first impression but he's certainly not the fighter his 2 fans claim him to be with all this hidden talent and skills that they can only see and that has taken him where he is. (top 10 contender)

Margarito's a TAD Better than Julio Gonzalez...

    If Julio's a "5",Margarito's a "6 1/2" or a "7"...

    Lb 4 Lb,he's BETTER than Gonzalez,but NOT by a Sizable Margin...Clearly,Margarito has a Superior CHIN & hits a Tad HARDER,but that's about It...

gonzalez fucking blows. margarito is a much better boxer than that club fighter.

margarito hits a tad harder? when was the last time you saw gonzalez stop anyone decent let alone a top 10 level guy? actually, when was the last time gonzalez had a non controversial win over a top 10 contender at 175?

this is the same guy who was pretty much KOed by julian letterlough.
