    No, Chavez-Taylor, idiot.
Taylor AKA Mayweather will be no more than a stumbling, mumbling wreck when Hatton's shots over 12-rounds have rendered him almost vegetable-like.

And I for one hope that happens.

Mayweather is a prick, his followers are pricks and anyone on this forum who supports him is a cunt.

I think you KNOW that I'm referring to the pugilistic significance of the fight, Muzse, NOT the excitement factor....and not the financial factor either.

Floyd-Hatton is the biggest fight right now in those terms and Hopkins-Calzaghe would be second.

Too many know-nothing-arseholes on this forum who think Mayweather's the shit, when in fact all he is, is ia shoeshiner of the worst kind.

De la Hoya didn't KO this twat in the 1st round cos he was fighting like he always does: like a homo.
No wonder the Mexicans hate him.

Hatton will put this Uncle-Tom-wannabee on a strecher.

    Hopefully.

    Warning number one.:nono: :warning:

You can get your point across without calling the man an idiot.

Now..in answer to this ridiculous post:

Mayweather is FAR MORE elusive that Taylor was and fights nothing like him. How is Hatton going to reduce him into a "stumbling, mumbling wreck " when he'll hardly hit him with a flush head shot?

A better analogy would be Jones-Clinton Woods

Which version of Castillo was better...the 2002 version Floyd faced (pre Corrales, Casamayor, Diaz) or the one Hatton faced?

hatton is the heavier puncher. floyd usually inflicts damage w/ succession of punches. he's not a one punch KO artist especially at 147.

There is not much difference, Castillo wasn't shot, he looked like the same fighter to me.

And that has nothign to do with power, whether he has slipped or not, Castillo simply knew hatton punched harder than anyone he faced.

Seriously what makes you think floyd hits harder?

Do you think Floyd could have taken Maussa out with 1 shot?

Hatton's power is insanely underrated by the yanks. They acknowledge him as being fast, but somehow neglect the fact that he took out Maussa AND Castillo with 1 shot each, head and body. Early in his career he was taking people out with 1 shot too.

One shot body KO doesn't mean shit...when it comes to demonstrating power. Anyone can be stopped by a body shot by ANYONE if they get hit right. The body reacts differently to punches than the head.

The Maussa KO is noteworthy, yes, but Mayweather bouncing Corrales, Mitchell, Ndou like basketballs off the canvas is noteworthy also....

This is just you either underrating Hatton or listening to idiotic Steward on the night of the broadcast.

Are you forgetting that just a couple of fights ago he took out Corrales with ONE shot?

    And suddenly Castillo's become shot?

Give me a break, that's absurd. Hatton just got in his face and didn't let him breathe, or do anything. He may have clinched too much, but it was still a pretty fucking good peformance by Hatton.

Incidentally - who has Floyd taken out at 140 or above with 1 shot, who is as durable as Maussa?

Part accumulation, part sheer bufuddlement on behalf of the opponents.

Sly - you may be a floyd groupie, but surely you acknowledge hatton hits harder? It's not even close, floyd could not take out someone as big and tough as maussa with 1 punch, no way, no how.

Did you SEE Corrales vs Castillo I? NEITHER guy was the same after that one. I'm also assuming you've forgotten the circumstances surrounding the fight with Castillo not making weight etc.

Lastly, after Castillo's suspension and the TERRIBLE outing he had prior to the Hatton match where he BARELY won...it's fairly obvious that he was shot.

Finally that "couple fights ago" taking out of Corrales with one punch translates into almost TWO YEARS ago.

those stoppages were all based on accumulation of punches. none of them were known to have the best chin to begin w/.

mayweather doesnt throw punches in bunches like he used to. he's basically pot shotter and i dont expect him to revert to his old style against hatton.

also, hatton is a lot stronger and also better than jesus chavez. i doubt he'd get eaten up w/ uppercuts on the inside. he'll do his best to maul floyd against the ropes.

i see a tough fight for floyd although i still think he wins.

I do believe, unlike Muzse, that Hatton hits harder. But it's only a slight difference, and Floyd WILL hurt Hatton, make no mistake about it.

When had Corrales even been down before Floyd got him? I also remember him taking Frietas' best shots soon after that fight....

Hatton is going to murder Floyd. I can't wait! Stylewise, this is gonna be a huge problem for Floyd. Those Hatton bodyshots are gonna make Floyd piss blood.

It should also be noted that Hatton stopped him AFTER he lost to Cotto and took the shots of Harris.

I guess that had nothing to do with it...especially considering Cotto beat Maussa three years PRIOR to Hatton.

Hell, Lemmon Lewis never put Evander Down and neither did Tyson "however" James Toney put Evander down and stopped him...

Does that mean Toney's a better puncher than Tyson and Lemmon?

Your defense of Hatton's alleged punching power leads one to believe this is what you're saying.

    I did.

He said Hatton hit like a motherfucker. He said he made a mistake leaving the body open and that he could've gotten up but would've taken a beating, he had no legs at all.
