This is a fight Zab can easily win on speed alone but does Margarito take his heart and ko's him late?

Where is the talk about this?

Anyway, Judah will either reach gatekeeper status by the end of this fight or suspended and fined when he makes an idiot of himself after getting DQ'd.

Judah looks spectacular against 2-nd rate opposition and this fight will be no exception.

Good fight if it happens. If Zab couldn't hold it together against pillow fist Baldomir, he's in trouble against Margarito. I think Margarito eventually stops him.

If Judah is serious about reviving his career, he should go for Baldomir rematch, instead of spending his time on tomato cans and no-hopers, like Margarito.

Margarito is too damn slow! I think Zab can outpoint him but Zab has always shown to fold under pressure. If Zab brings his heart I think he can beat Margarito.

Baldomir is a can. You're right though, Zab should ramatch him so he can prove it was a fluke.

Baldomir is just as slow and he can't break an egg.

Margarito is no slower than Baldomir. Although he does loop his punches more, he has a better workrate and is taller and rangier.

Judah can bring his heart, but what about his adjustment abilities (or lack thereof)?

Zab can start off quickly, but Margarito will shake off the shots, start to beat Judah up, and Judah, as usual, will have no way to adjust other than to look for one bomb.

If this fight takes place, then they can be even with both having one win each over Zab and Clottey.

Right......but for that to happen, the fight must take place and Margarito has to win......Two very big "ifs"....and, of course, even if that happens, Margarito will only prove that he's on the same level as Baldomir.....but if in the meantime Baldomir defeats yet another top-10 guy, he'll be ahead of Margarito, just as he is now.

Who Zab? The guy who got blown out in 2 by that bum Tszyu? Or Gatti the guy who just got smashed by a contender clown?

You cant have it both ways, you can't call Tszyu a bum and Baldomir good for beating the same guy.

That is a very good point however Zab underestimated Baldomir, I don’t think he will do the same with Margarito.

Right....but Baldomir destroyed not only Judah, he also knocked out Gatti.
And how many fighters of Gatti's caliber has Zoo defeated?
Mitchell? Mitchell doesn't come close to Gatti at 140, let alone other divisions where Gatti was the champ....and Mitchell is the 2-nd best name on Zoo's resume.....

Well I guess not, I'd pick Clottey to beat Margs and Judah. Judah is through. I read his interview on btalk where he said he might fight 3 tuneups before he has another big fight. If he wants to revive his career that's what he needs to do because his confidence is completely shot and he won't beat nobody in the top 10 right now. If he chooses another payday fight (Margarito) he's done as a serious contender.

It's obvious Arum is trying to get Margarito's name back in the big time levels by pitching him against a name guy he'd easily beat. I'd lay money on Margarito to beat Judah. Against Cotto, Judah didn't even try.

Here's the funny thing. Judah says he wants a rematch with Cotto. When asked if he wants a rematch with Floyd he says after Floyd sees him beat Cotto and Mosley that Floyd wouldn't want to fight him because Floyd's a coward. That's a thinly veiled way of saying no thank you.

I think Margarito will run him out of the ring, probably quicker than Cotto did. Zab got brutal beaten in 2 of his last 3 fights, that takes a toll. Also, he hasn't won a fight in 2 years, that takes a toll mentally too. Zab's days as a player in the division are pretty much finished.

That can be the difference. He took a pounding in his last couple fights. Zab has all the talent in the world but is a mental midget:doh:

his talent is overrated. he has great handspeed and reflexes but shitty stamina, mediocre chin, and his technique is heavily flawed.

Baldomir beat Gatti @ 147, what does that have to do with your claim of Mitchell not coming close to Gatti @ 140?

Zab's biggest flaw is he folds under pressure. He has good power along with blazing hand speed. I agree that his technique is flawed.

I agree about Zab losing confidence. The guy was already flopping on the floor in round 1 after a shot strayed a little low against Cotto, looking for help from the ref right away. Now the 3rd round low blow was vicious, but the one in the first I think Zab was overacting.
