Certainly, ODLH's flurries against Sturm, Mosley and PBF deserve a mention, for being both pretty and compeltely ineffective...who else warrants a mention?

a PBF fan makes fun of pitty-pats? if it weren't for the pitty-pat, PBF might have had to fight ODH, and be knocked out. but with the help of the pitty-pat, he managed not to. and still won a decision. somehow.

dude, when you have an opponent moving his whole upper body, and bobbing his head, you have to take something off your shots and throw in combination if you expect to land.

considering your allegiances, you really need to find something other than pitty-patting as a means to criticize ODH. maybe start a thread, who is the world's best 9 round fighters.

Manuel Medina is the greatest pitty-patter I ever saw. He would throw 1500 punches a fight and not actually step into a single punch.

Well, obviously, ODLH might have EXPECTED something to land, but nothing did....:dunno:
PBF, on the other hand, when he had an opponent in front of him moving forward and side-to-side and bobbing his head (ODLH), decided not to throw meaningless 10-punch flurry (like ODLH did against Mosley), but threw two sharp, crisp punches, scoring with both and snapping ODLH's head back.

at least ODH was in range when he threw the punches. unlike 80% of the offense PBF set up against ODH in which he threw from a distance that Paul Williams would've had trouble landing from. PBF beat the hell out of ODH's gloves that night. what a performance.

Why does it matter what range he was in, when he landed 0%?

because at least it shows an intent to land. it wasn't a case of throwing punches just to throw, the way PBF did against ODH.

i mean seriously. for a stretch there in the middle, it looked like PBF was aiming for ODH's gloves. i was even convinced momentarily that the two fighters were in cahoots.

No, it shows an inability to land and throwing punches just to throw.

PBF hurt ODLH twice in the fight. ODLH hurt PBF 0 times in the fight. The conclusion is obvious.
