I would enforce a rule for NO POT SHOTTING! After 3 warnings fighter is automatically DQ'd!

    What would you enforce?

i would enforce not getting pot shotted - 3 times or 100 like Tito against Winky and you're DQed...

If you hit more than 2 of your opponents in the balls during your career, you're getting one testicle removed for every additional violation. After no more testicles are left, your shaft should removed as well.

no fucking holding! of course, you have to allow fighters who are hurt to hold, and occasional holding should be allowed, but this business of building your entire strategy around holding, the way guys like Hatton, Wlad and Ruiz have, should be done away with. and as i see it, it's the referee's job to do so. for some reason, they seem afraid to enforce it though. even when they issue warnings, it very rarely leads to anything, and the holding continues.

fighters who hold excessively should be warned three times, two of which result in a point deduction. after that, it should be a disqualification. fights would become 100 times more exciting and would lead ultimately to more skillful champions and we'd be spared the emergence of stinker champions like Ruiz, who more than anything, just have the audacity and shamelessness to latch on to their opponents in a pathetic display.

mandatory IQ tests for boxing message board posters. with minimum requirements that must be met to join, as well as additional requirements for those who wish to start topics.

that would have certainly prevented the first post in this topic.

yeah. good point. i wonder if PBF would've survived that fight had they been wearing 8 oz. gloves. or, what about Margarito/Williams?

i think esoecially at 147 and below they should wear 8 oz gloves. actually, 154 and below. 160 and above they should wear 10 oz.

no. mine has never been unconditional. rather, it's been strictly a function of the fighters' performances in the ring, their styles, and their willingness to take on top opponents.

yours is unconditional - without conviction or foundation - just a malleable set of positions that needn't be consistent except to support and defend the great PBF.

No plodding. A certain Rican would be banned from the sport.

well I did criticize mayweather for his last bout. it did not interest me at all aside from financial gain. thank goodness he's facing a worthy foe who actually is hungry and has a chance to win in december

if Hatton beats PBF, it'll be because he's allowed to grapple and hold excessively on the inside (i.e. the reason he was able to beat Tszyu).

    hmm.
Not sure if this would be The Rule I'd enforce, but I do think shorts should be worn no higher than the beltline and especially the cup protector.

    No more predetermined purses.

From now on, you win the fight, you get 75% of the total purse. You lose the fight you get 25%. If it's a draw, 50\50. This would give fighters incentive to win, and you wouldn't see as many fighters mailing it in.

Maybe make a KO Bonus, where the split is 80%\20% for the winner.

    In for a quick nibble.
No back twisting and no ducking your head below belt level,.. AKA...None of that shoulder roll defence shit,.. No forearms to the throat, no flicking of the elbow, no palming of your opponents head and following straight rights off the break, and penalties for failing to engage should also be applied.

:crafty: That should make things interesting.

Don't know if this constitutes as a rule, but I wouldn't allow boxers to pick and choose who will be their next opponent. If they are not willing to fight who the commission says, they should be fined and/or suspended.

I hope Floyd gets his hands on Cotto one day. Cause if you hate him now, you'll REALLY hate him when that day comes.

Fuck him! Fraud is a disgrace to boxing. You and many other posters here are starting to post like the cocksucker is invinsible. I hope Hatton Hump clinches that bitch to a ko. How can any fan of boxing be proud of Mayweather? He makes awful fights.

Arent you a fan of Calderon? Talkin bout aweful fights. Floyd isnt a disgrace to boxing. He's hated cause he's a prick, but also cause he's so good. Cause honestly if he wasnt so damn good, he wouldnt have nearly as many haters. Whats a disgrace is getting dominated, and bitched by the most basic punch in the sport for 12 rounds then retiring like a pussy.
