I was watching the recent interview with Vargas and Mayorga on showtime last night and noticed a couple things. Mayo looks worried to me. Vargas looks calm and collective. This fight should be talked about because in my opinion it will be a brawl! A delight to the fans! I'm going to stick with my guy feeling here. I have Mayo landing a crazy punch and Knocking Vargas hell out. It will be interesting to see how both fighters react to taking heavy shots. I have Mayo tko 4 Vargas!:bears:
I don't really care about this two mediocre, shot fighters. Sure, I'll watch when it happens but this is a meaningless fight that won't be as good as most think here.
I think Vargas is going to giving Mayorga a boxing lesson ala Oscar and Tito. I just wonder if Mayorga's chin is damaged beyond repair. Vargas isn't a wild slugger, he's a puncher/boxer and everything he throws comes off the jab. People on here make it seem like he throws wild haymakers like some drunk off-balance moron. He's going to be calm and collected and will take the victory. Mayorga isn't in his league and Mayorga's power isn't something Vargas hasn't seen before. Mayorga is no big deal over 147. Vargas will drop him.
I usually don't comment on men's looks, but both of them dudes are ugly ass motherfuckers. I'm trying to figure out who's the uglier of the two, probably Mayorga with all that acne shit on his face, but Vargas also has that stupid perpetual self-licking of his upper lip with that annoying snake tongue of his, everytime he finishes a sentence, out comes that wet boa-constrictor outta his damn mouth, stupid motherfucker. I can't stand either of them two retarded thugs, I hope there's a double knockout.
Did you watch Vargas's last fight? he was fucking awfull. He can easily get KO'ed. This fight is an insignifigant toss up. Whoever losses goes nowhere, whoever wins also will go nowhere. In other words who gives a fuck.
I agree! Vargas has decent skills, but the big question is can his chin take some heavy shots? I think Mayo at this point can still take a decent punch. It's going to be interesting. Someone is getting KTFO for sure. This aint going the distance!:bears:
you can't read anything into last night's interview on showtime. Both guys were behaving the way they always do. Jim Gray was terrible asking questions about the back and fourth insults. Asking Mayorga if he wanted to take back what he said about Vargas.:dunno: The interview was a little funny but it wasn't translated properly to the English speaking audience.::
I'm really suprised anyone picks Mayo! Vargass was outclassed by Tito and DLH but he has shown decent skills at times... I just think even Vargass is on another level from Mayoraga.. he is a wild swinging bum.. Vargass SHOULD have easy work
That Showtime translator is just as inept as that other imbecile on HBO. Can't they hire a real professional interpreter/translator? My little sister is one, and she laughs at those guys, she says they wouldn't even be hired as janitors at a courthouse, let alone as court translators.
I dont know what the name for this PPV is but "DAMAGED GOODS" seems most appropriate. Mayorgas head looked round and enormous on that interview. 162 is a terrible weight for him. The genius who started this thread likes to criticize boxing superstars/surefire hall of famers yet he looks forward to this rubbish. go figure.
They are beyond horrible, both HBO and Showtime should be ashamed of themelves for using these two assclowns.
I criticize a fraud Pot Shotter who ruins mega fights and is horrible to watch! This fight here are 2 real fighters who will lay it all on the line, unlike some fraud pitty patter!:flip:
how long would either of these two fellas last if they moved up even two divisions and slugged it out with ranked opponents?
Mayorga Looked Kinda SPOOKED to REED...Vargas was Actually Talking MORE Shit than Mayorga,Last Night... Obviously Mayorga Still has a Puncher's Chance, due to Vargas' Chin, but REED is Rolling w/Nando on this 1... There'd Better B a Good UNDERCARD on this PPV,Cause the Main Event is Ending EARLY...REED Can't C this Fight Going Past 5 Rounds,Regardless WHO Wins... REED
As much as I think Mayorga is an overhyped bum, Vargas' shotness looked bad enough in the Mosley fights that I give Mayorga a good shot. Vargas just looked like he couldn't punch with any kind of speed or power in those fights. He's completely used up and I hope he doesn't take too much punishment because this should really be his last fight. I got Vargas by SD simply because Mayorga is such an outstanding bum and is moving into the much higher weight class.
Exactly. Mayorga is a maricon. He can dish it out, but if you give it back to him, he gets intimidated. Thats how he is inside AND out the ring. Vargas already has him beat IMO.
This is a battle between worn out SHOT fighters. Anything can happen. I still lean towards Mayorga though...
Mayorga was taken apart by Tito.......and he will never be the same. I guess a beating from Trinidad has taken it all out of more than one fighter before. Ricardo is on a two fight losing skid. Make that three. Vargas UD Mayorga
They call it TitoSyndrome :crafty: . Mayo took a horrible beating. And I agree he hasnt looked the same.
Trinidad gave him a physical beating..but De La Hoya took his manhood...:nono:... against Trinidad he went in thinking he might lose..but against DLH he was confident that he would beat the Golden boy up...and ruin his looks...:eeeek:then he got the shock of his life...
Hell, no wonder!!!! The last two fights that he talked shit in, he got BRUTALLY knocked the fk out! Mayorga is and was only a limited guy with decent power that was wild, cocky and most importantly CONFIDENT. The confidence is gone, and you have what is left......along with a chin that has been beaten to hell and back TWO fights in a row. that will shake a cat's confidence.:eeeek:
Vargass is just a much much better, more schooled fighter. They are both washed up but it's more Vargass being washed up and Mayorga being a "never was" I think Vargass still has enough in the tank that we will see his skills
REED Knows Ferocious is OPENLY Calling this his "Last" Fight, but we ALL Know how Boxing Retirements Go... As Such, WHAT R the Chances that Vargas Wins IMPRESSIVELY & Fights ONWARD??... REED:dunno:
