Lewis/Rahman I was a major upset. Lewis/Rahman 2 was sweet revenge. In terms of the actual KO punch, Rahman's was moreso luck on a tiring sloppy Lewis. Lewis' KO was one of conviction and built up anger.
Plus Lewis' KO made a much louder WHACK! I'd say Lewis/Rahman 2. Rahman's a B class fighter and was exposed as such, hell even today he's still getting whacked out.

I like Rahman more than Lewis so it was more satisfying to see Lewis get KO'd than Hasim, but I liked the rematch KO better.

Rahman getting KO'd was better. It was a harder punch. Laying there out cold perfectly wearing the crown on the canvas. That was classic.

I voted for the KO of Lemmon.

    My thoughts exactly.

I'm a fan of the revenge KO in any event, but Lewis' right hand was just so LOUD that I have to give the vote for him.

I wouldn't say it came out of nowhere. Rahman nailed him with the same punch flush in the face a minute before but not to much effect. It was a warning sign though and Rahman then rushed Lewis to the other side of the ring with several jabs and Lewis kept clowning and taunting before getting decked and laid out. Some people in the bar were gearing up to see Lewis pay for his bullsh*t and it happened.

You could see it coming for sure. Rahman was nailing him with that right hand and Lewis just walks straight backwards smiling with his hands down like an idiot.

Rahman has been on the receiving end on some of the most spectacular/hilarious knockouts ever.

Falling out of the ring against Maskaev, almost doing it again in the rematch (and holding on to Oleg's leg in order to prevent it). The Lewis KO.

I'm not too interested in Wladimir-Rahman match that's been talked about, but at least we may see another good knockout.

If you were from Baltimore and not Britain, I bet you'd have a different take on the fight.

Besides, you left Britain and moved to Canada to retrace Lemmon's footsteps.

Lewis didn't crack any smiles in the rematch. He was in the zone in that match and Rahman got obliterated as expected. That's how it should've been in the first fight.

Yep, he was all business in the rematch unlike the first fight. That is exactly how he should have done it the first time around. He definitely took Rahman lightly and paid for it in the first fight.

rahman has proven to be a garbage fighter. rahman's continual decline further diminishes lewis' legacy.

The scond fight, for several reasons (many have been stated).

-The snap on that punch was caught on the microphone well, so it sounded awesome.

-Rahman landed in the perfect spot for the Don King crown.

-The punch not only laid Rahman on his back, but immediately open a cut on his lip at the point of impact.

-While Lewis looked lazy in the first fight, he looked like he could get caught at any point. In the rematch, Rahman may have been overconfident, but he wasn't being lazy (he certainly showed that in the prefight brawl where he had Lewis at his mercy :slap:)...just stupid and inconsistent which is his trademark. Who the hell tries a mummy arms  defense like that against a taller fighter??? In a roundabout way, I'm saying that the second fight at least had two fighters with their head in the match.

Doesn't Rahman still use the Mummy arms defense to a degree? Maskaev was nailing him easily in the rematch. Rahman's defense is pretty awful.

Lewis-Rachman II was one of the most brutal one punch KO's in heavyweight history. It was way better than Lewis-Rachman I's KO.

Rahman was hit by a gunman in the audience, the sound is telling. When he is doing the interview after, you can see where the bullet grazed his face and he bled by the ropes out of his face.

At least Klitschko is the taller man to do it, and Foreman used to cross his arms in front of him a la Archie Moore.
