Hector is a free spirit as everyone knows, and you could really never tell when he was clowning to stir something up. A friend of his, Brad Cooney is a good friend of mine, and says that Hector does have a tendency to hit the bottle, but so what? He dosen't hurt anyone or get behind the wheel of a car while drunk, but yes, he committed that B&E when he was smashed, but he received probation and has met the terms of it and stayed out of trouble ever since. I have never met the man, but I have heard from Brad and a late friend of mine that Hector is basically a pretty good guy to know that just likes to have a good time with the ladies, and that don't make him a bad cat at all.
karl, in that video, he's obviously not only drunk, but high on cocaine too. Look at him touching his nose, and slurring his speech. believe me, he used to come a lot to PR and he's a well known snorter in this country. His brother, Felix, was a drug pusher and Hector has always been around bad company. His marriage saved his life from dying on the streets. He's an OK guy, but a very fucked up individual and a sad character. He's even lost respect with the people here, which is something very rare when we're talking about a high profile ex boxer.
