WHAT A FIGHT. I know I always doubt on Cotto and it's only because Cotto has flaws just like Tito did. But the funny thing is like Tito, Cotto finds a way to win. But now he will face the most complete fighter he ever has fought. Even to this day Mosley is dangerous. He has a very good Boxer/Puncher and unlike Zab will go to war! I think the bus stops here for Cotto. I'm going with Mosley by stoppage late. Cotto will press, press, press but it wont be enough unless Mosley lost a step.

    Mosley TKO11 Cotto in a FOTY!:eeeek:

i'm gonna go with Mosley by stinky decision. this fight won't be as entertaining as people expect. Mosley will hold on the inside, and flick when he can from the outside.

Really? That would really suck! Cotto is going to press the shit out of him, knowing Mosley he will fire back. It will be a shocker if Mosley holds and flicks for 12 rounds.

hey. there's plenty of fights i'm optimistic about. this isn't one of them. i'm a fan of Mosley's and i think he's good. but his reputation as an exciting fighter, especially against good competition, is completely undeserved.

This Prediction ISN'T Set N Stone yet,but RIGHT NOW REED is Leaning Towards Sugar Shane by a LATE Stoppage(10th-11th Round or So)...

REED Thinks Shane's Combination of SPEED, AGGRESSION & EXPERIENCE will Ultimately B Toooo Much for Cotto...

    Historically,Shane has a FIELD DAY w/Slow,Easy to Hit Fighters...& UNlike Zab,if Shane Gets Cotto HURT,he WON'T Let him Off the Hook:nono: ...

Cotto's got NUTS the Size of Basketballs, but @ SOME Point he's Gotta TIGHTEN UP that Defense...

:bears: Excellent! Mosley went to war 2 times with a bigger Delahoya! He will do it again with Cotto. This is going to be one hell of a fight!

I'm going with Mosley on this one for the fact that Mosley has the edge in to many departments most importantly speed, chin and big fight experience. Should be a great fight.

You ain't no fucking Shane fan. Man! There's nothing worse than a hater who tries to disguise himself as a fan so he can get away with his ridiculous negatives. You consistently try to get people to believe Shane initiated all the clinching in the 2nd Forrest-Mosley fight and everytime there is Shane thread you've got nothing but negatives to say about him. I know because I'm usually the one debating you. If Shane is such an unexciting fighter, then please explain to me why you're such a fan of his?

As for you Hex-1 I don't know why you started this thread when there's practically one already up regarding this fight. :dunno: I mean, I'm not the thread police but come on...

mainly i'm a fan of his because of his personality and his willingness to fight the best, and the courage he displays in the ring.

but i haven't found his fights all that entertaining. in fact, for the most part they're tedious. and it's because he doesn't really fight inside. he grabs.

I'll sig bet you this will be an entertaining fight. Shane didn't grab that much in the Collazo fight or the 2nd Vargas fight.

For people doubting how much Shane has left need remember that most critics kept saying how it was Shane, not Collazo that looked like the younger guy in the ring.

Fair enough, although you overexaggerate his clinching. He does not clinch as often as you think he does.

    Mosley TKO9 or 10.

Mosley is much quicker and faster, and also Cotto is shorter and has less reach than Mosley. I wouldn't be surprised to see Mosley have a field day hitting Cotto especially since Cotto is the type of fighter Mosley has typically punished throughout his career and Cotto doesn't have the greatest defense in the world. Mosley has been fighting that style since his lightweight days.

WOW im really on the fence but my feeling is this fight will be tactical at first then it will heat up with Cotto hitting the canvas in the middle rounds. Cotto's good bodywork will serve him well as Moley will wear down late and cotto will box late and stay away and it go to the scorecards and a split decision win for...................................I dont know.:dunno:

so shane going 24 rounds with a great boxer, and never being tko'ed or stoped, has no bearing on if cotto can ko him or not? are you serious? so your picking cotto by tko? you got some money you want to back that up with?

true, but i dont see him losing by tko, i think he can lose, but not by tko, i guess your prediction has alot to do with the style of fight these two guys fight, but i still dont think shane will be tko'ed

Mosley by mid to late TKO.

When are these tickets going on sale and who's on the undercard?
This is one of those fights that I HAVE to catch live.

Forrest must be a better fighter than De La Hoya because he nearly KO'd Mosley right?
