Cupey if you wanna talk shit about Roy's resume, then I suggest you take a close look at who tito fought at 147. Excluding Carr, and DLH, there was about a 6 year stretch where Tito went on a bum of the month tour.

This has to be in Yankee Stadium. The biggest population of Puerto Ricans is NYC. They can fill that bitch up.

Trinidad is too brave for his own good. Props to Trinidad for taking on the challenge but I think Jones is going to destroy him with ease.

worse matchmaking ever btw. This is a circus act. Tyson vs Kimbo would be more interesting...

Who the hell thinks of putting Old vulnerable depleted Roy Jones in with inactive, one dimensional tiny Trinidad?

It's a joke of a fight. I was wishing it was a joke but now it appears to be for real.

for some reason, i'm really excited about this fight. i think it has more to do w/ the fact that tito somewhat stands a chance of winning.

i gave him no chance to beat hopkins back in 2001 and i think jones would've starched him easily had they fought back then.

i still think jones beats him but it's much more of an intriguing fight considering jones' recent decline and inability to take a punch to the chin.

Tito has almost no chance. Roy has fought as high as heavyweight, and Tito - a career welterweight is going to knock him out?

It won't happen, even this shot roy. As great a puncher as Tito was at 147 - 154, he's not going to be able to hit as hard as much bigger men like Johnson and Tarver.

    Roy by late stoppage.

I admit, I am somewhat interested though, whenever 2 legends face off it's always fun, shot or not.

what a joke...several year ago, tito would have had absolutely zero percent chance against jones. now tito has a 10 percent chance against jones and that's the only reason why this fight will have any intrigue whatsoever.

I guarantee this fight will be one of the best selling PPV's in recent memory. Tito/RJ will sell, like it or not. I bet most of you who say its a bullshit ppv will buy it anyway:lol:

Poor, poor Carlos. Alas, your days of talking sh*t about Tito-Jones are winding down. Question - when Tito gets rescued by Papa again, will you finally put the :cheer: down? And how are you going to feel knowing he got KO'ed by an :eek:ld:?

i am not happy about this fight Tito should have made Roid come in @ 168 then he would have a chance because of the weight drain.
not happy at all unless Roid Chin gets tapped i'll be in my back yard drinking some Coors Light and listening to Hector lavoe's song " Todo Tiene Su Final". :dunno:

both of these guys are going to get seriously hurt before it's all said and done. the winner of this fight will end up fighting an elite fighter and get embarrased and/or completely smashed. boxing is the worst sport when it comes to retirement...fools always trying to recapture old glory...

Since your theory about Roy staying down on the canvas for 30 minutes was because he was embarassed he was KO'd by Johnson. How long will he stay on the canvas when Tito KO's his ass?:laughing:

I don't belive this for one minute. Rahman signed contracts to fight Tyson and Holyfield just prior to signing to fight the rematch with Lemmon.

With no venue, no network (with HBO being the only network who could afford this fight) I don't believe there's any validity to this.
