Best combinations of speed AND power!

Its rare when you find a fighter that his either great speed, or power. Whats even MORE rare is a fighter that has BOTH! Not too many fighters in history have possesed a combination of blazing handspeed and one punch KO power, the 5 most notable that come to mind are:

Then you having guys who had blazing handspeed, and very good, but not not quite devestating power. Those include:

135-140 Oscar De La Hoya

 

Roy Jones. I can't remember seeing anyone as fast as Jones who had as much power as Jones.

Even though I really never cared for either guy, I would add Salvador Sanchez and Wilfredo Gomez there.

I just didn't like his style though he was a truly great fighter.
I really thought Ruben Castillo beat him on points.

 

My bad. Oscar from 130-140 belongs on this list. Even at 147, his power was still very good.

 

Wladimir Klitschko. He's pretty fast for a man his size.

Very good handspeed and underrated, especially early in his career....

Duran is a very good one. Shoulda mentioned him. At 135 he had great power, and excellent handspeed.

 

Fraud had devistating power, until he finally started fighting opponents his own size. Now he's got nothing and he fights like a bitch, quite a noticeable transformation I think, we can't talk about Fraud's legacy without including fundamental words such as oversized, oppurtunism, illegal impliments, and an aggregate loss to Castillo in two fights, one of which, he should've been disqualified for a career repetitive misdemeanor 'excessive running & back twisting' ofcourse.

I am amazed only 1 person mentioned Duran. He could punch at 135, shit he even carried his power all the way up to 154 and 160 when he was motivated, just look at the Moore and Barkley fights.

Duran's handspeed was not that consistent, not all his punches were fast, but when he went for it at 135 he was pretty damn quick, you'd barely see his right hands land and he could throw quick combos too.

Pacman really needs to be on there, he has a perfect combo of speed and power.

 

Once again you prove your distrurbing obsession with Floyd.

 

I forgot to mention G-man. Much as I hate that dog killer, theres no denying he could punch like a muthafucka! And he had very fast hands.

Nigel Benn I guess too. Everyone knows Benn for his power, but his hands were far from slow. Same with Julian Jackson.

Tito gets mention as well. Most things about Tito are overrated, but one thing about him thats UNDERRATED in his handspeed. He got a wrap for being slow, but that has to do with his footwork. His hands were always fast, esp his hook.

 

@ 160,Roy's Power was DEVASTATING...

@ 168,it was VERY GOOD....@ 175,it was Pretty Good...Hell,he BADLY Buckled Ruiz w/ONE Shot @ Heavyweight,Shattering his Nose N the Process...

Roy's power WAS devistating to THE BODY,..NO MATTER WHICH weight class he fought in...:nono: Reed please, more vitamins, less minerals.

 

160 yeah I'd agree, at 168 I'm not so sure.

 

I don't feel Roy ever had devestating power. Tito had devastating power. At his best weight Roy had very good power and upon moving up he merely had decent power IMO.

Floyd likewise never even had decent power IMO and was always feather fisted. Other than the Manfreddy fight I can't remember him getting KO's based off of anything other than prolonged beatings of his opponents.

One guy you can add to the list is Jose Luis Lopez. He had good speed and power.
