In Ji Chi going to k-1????

I was pretty shocked to hear that Chi was going into K-1, especially since h'es a slow starter and the 3 or 5 rounds K-1 format won't suit him well. I know a lot about K-1 but never followed k-1 Max ( or any other weight besides the heavyweight ) but what are his chances in it and when will he make his debut ????

 

Is there a smaller weight class than Max, I really can't see Chi competing with 154lb
