What you fail to understand is first, Leonard Little was tried, sentenced, and got his punishment by the courts and by the NFL. Different commissioner, different judiciary, etc. Are there problems in our judicial system? Of course there are, there are inconsistencies on every level, but you can't judge one crime based on a wholey disimilar crime.

We could go on for a year posting all the crimes which has disproportionate sentences, that would accomplish nothing.

Vick committed a crime against society, not a crime against his sport.........so why would have be suspended from football once he did his time for society?

You can fire him if you want based on a morals clause but I'm not sure you can deny the man his livelihood if somebody is willing to hire him back once he pays his debt to society.

Now, if he gambled on a football game he was involved with I would have no problem with a lifetime ban............because as benign and victimless as that might seem, it's a crime against the sport he's making a living from that has been made perfectly clear to him from the start.
