List fighters along with their worst nightmares. And to keep it interesting, stick to fighters in and around each fighter's weight class. Also, it has to be a fighter who's yet to kick the other guy's ass. For example, Barrera's worst nightmare cannot be Pacquiao since he's already lived through a beating from him. PBF - worst nightmare: Margarito ODH - worst nightmare: Ouma Babybull - worst nightmare: Hatton Spinks - worst nightmare: Ouma JM Marquez - worst nightmare: Guzman Vazquez - worst nightmare: Caballero Wlad - worst nightmare: Peter Mormeck - worst nightmare: Jirov
YEAH. couldn't think of anyone else. and the rematch is inevitable. and Peter could very well win it if he fights smart.
why do you say he's shot? because he got beaten by a couple of heavy-weights? i heard he's moving back down to cruiser. at 200, if he's anything close to as good as he once was, he can beat Mormeck.
He drew with Orlin Norris and went life and death with Luke Munson who is a cruiser, barely eeking out a decision. I'd say that qualifies for shotness
you must have not seen some of his fights after the toney fight. even at crusier, he had hard time beating club fighters.
It's a good year for boxing,..I woulda said,.. Fraud's worst nightmare - MARGARITO, OBVIOUSLY, look what he did to scramble away from even negotiating with him, and allegedly, it's not just twice he's pulled a bitch fit at Arum over this. Calzaghe's worst nightmare - Kessler, a come forward one dimensional winger he aint, Kessler will keep his distance with superior straights and footwork, Calzaghe is fucked, :: and it's laughable as to why he would even dare take this fight, talk about underestimating someone. Cotto's worst nightmare - Mosely, a few quick counters oughta have Cotto buzzed and back tracked every round while it lasts, Cotto wont win a single round, and will probably be knocked out before the championship rounds, Oktay Urkal, Mosely aint, Zab Judah, Mosely certainly aint.
he looked like doo doo against two journeyman fighters after the toney fight. he nearly took mesi's head off after that, but he certainly hasnt looked the same since the toney fight. jirov is calling out virgil hill and there's a reason for that. bell, mormeck, and haye would all crush him. cunningham would outbox him and win a decision.
Jirov should fight Jeremy Williams, after Williams last fight that is a guy that even a shot Jirov could beat.
that's a doo doo fight. who wants to see jeremy williams? I certainly dont. :: i'd rather see jirov get whupped by bell. it should be entertaining while it lasts.
bell seemed like a cool guy when i saw him after the first mormeck fight. but yea, he is pretty crazy. he's like a mini-ibeabuchi.
hahahahahah! Floyd's worse nightmare, stylewise, is Oscar De La Hoya and guess what...he's already beaten him. After Oscar, stylewise it's Zab Judah (more speed, more power, slick and is a southpaw) and guess what...Floyd has beaten him also. Margarito's predictable style is made to order for Floyd.
Anyway...my contribution to this very good topic. Hopkins worst nightmare is Calzaghe Calzaghe's worst nightmare is Hopkins Floyd's worst nightmare is Oscar De La Hoya Shane's worst nightmare is Ricky Hatton Cotto's worst nightmare is Floyd Pacquaio's worst nightmare is Marquez Wlad's worst nightmare is Vitali Vitali's worst nightmare is Peter Taylor's worst nightmare is Calzaghe (The Welshman is a nightmare for anyone)
simply not true. Margarito's work-rate, durability and determination give PBF the shivers. also, don't forget Williams. he poses more difficulty than ODH or Judah. and it's difficult to imagine PBF ever beating him too. if PBF faced Margarito, there never would've been a ODH/PBF fight. so in that sense, PBF made the right decision - fight the easy guys - the Baldomirs and Gattis and Judahs, and then jockey for a super-fight.
I'd give you Williams (forgot about him), but not Margarito. Floyd would potshot Margarito all night long and win an easy decision and then get criticized for fighting like a scared pussy. Floyd will not engage Margaraito in any way (why would he?) and as such wins very comfortably. Williams, however, i would agree is stylistically a rather difficult fight for Floyd.
You're not the first to claim this, but I don't see it. Peter's one strength, is his strength. Vitali might not be as good offensively as Wlad, but he does boast a much better chin. And aside from punching power, I can't think of too many areas where Peter would hold an advantage on Vitali.
vitali's worst nightmare is rahman. how pathetic. maybe vitali can fight him after (if) he beats mccline
Good logic. I just see Peter as being able to take anything that Vitaly dishes out at him and keep coming and coming and possibly outworking him. But I may reconsider my position on this based on your good points.
hmm... valid point on Peter. If Vitali were to get him, it'd be through attrition more than anything else. So then it becomes a matter of how much he'd be willing to commit in order to finish.
Margarito Isn't ANYBODY's "Worst Nightmare"... Based on Achievement & Resume,he's Quite Possibly THE Most OVERRATED Fighter of the Early-Mid 00's... Floyd Could Beat Baldomir AND Margarito on the SAMEfuckingNIGHT...They're Basically the SAME Guy,Stylistically... Floyd's "Worst Nightmare" is Paul Williams...You Know, the Guy that EXPOSED Margarito???:dunno: REED
exposed Margarito? When are you going to stop saying stupid shit without thinking about it first? Williams barely beat Margarito. It was a very close fight, with both fighters having plenty of success. You think PBF could've handled all the shots that Williams did? and to say that Margarito is the "same" as Baldomir is just absurd. In what sense?
