How about adding an Upcoming Fight Schedule post and keep it stickied at the top of the forum? You can disable replies (if that's even possible) and update it every week or so, as needed.

It would just be a cool little feature to see what fights are upcoming, and not have to leave the forum to do so.

I like it. I have also had an idea of having fightbeat rankings. would be kind of a fun debate once a month or however long they were updated:dunno:

    You got it.

Any mod can change that when they wish. If anyone wants to step up to the plate to be the Sched guy for the board, I can alter their account. Cheers.

yeah except that would cannibalize the fight schedule that Fightbeat already publishes on its homepage. the last thing fightbeat needs is to remove another reason for its members to visit the homepage.

well the problems with that are:

    1) hardly anyone checks the homepage for anything other than what's presently in front of them. the schedule is WAY down on the bottom

    2) the schedule hasn't been updated in months. it is currently empty.

yeah. i always check the maxboxing schedule. it's free and it's always up to date. it's better than fightnew's schedule which isn't always up to date.
