Are there any fights you find yourself liking to watch over and over that most people wouldn't consider exciting or great fights?

For me, I like to watch the following fights even though I fully admit that they're not what most people consider exciting fights, nor are they action packed:

    1. ODH/Trinidad
    2. Quartey/Forrest
    3. Hagler/Duran (don't get me wrong, good fight, but as much as I used to watch it, you'd think it was MAB/Morales I)

    I LOVE me some Holyfield/Tyson 1.

I was going to start a thread after I watched it again last week called "Exciting Clinch-Fests". I couldn't think of another fight with that much holding that I enjoyed like I enjoy that one.

Hopkins-Trinidad. The fight was okay, maybe a pretty good fight (the significance and atmosphere helped), but I love watching Hopkins's performance. That was a masterful performance.

Duran-Leonard I had a lot of holding, and that was enjoyable IMO.

Fraud - Castillo 1,.. ESPECIALLY, the rounds after Drackulich took a point away from Fraud for excessive forearm to the throat warnings,..from there on Fraud had nuthin',..he became a sitting duck to Castillo's in-fighting :crafty: a glorious fight to watch, and yet, I don't know why.

Good one on Duran/Leonard. Honestly, I haven't watched the fight in over five years.

I don't really watch that many fights anymore, but a fight I used to sometimes leave in the VCR and watch over and over again was DLH/Whitaker.

hey that would've been a good thread! you should've made it. then again, i too am having trouble thinking of any clinch-fests that weren't tedious and horrible to watch.

I enjoy Zab Judah vs Cory Spinks II a lot! I also like Bowe/Golota II and Holyfield/Dokes. Don't know why but I thought they were fun fights.

    Good ones.
I always liked Bruselles' style, chin down, elbows in and on balance, hopefully he will make it big soon, the big money.

Bowe-Golota II and Holyfield-Dokes are classic heavyweight brawls, that's why.

I thought Judah-Stinks I was better throughout, but at least we got a knockout in the rematch.

REED is a FAN of the Somewhat LENGTHY,1 Sided BEATDOWNs (Not to Mention the Early Round KO's,but that's Another Topic)...

    Roy vs Paz
    Floyd vs Gatti
    Manny Pac vs Ledwaba
    Sanchez-Gomez
    Toney-Barkley

REED Watches ALL of these Bouts @ Least a Couple Times PER Month...

Though it was More "Historic" than "Great",REED Watches Roy vs Ruiz Often...

    Leonard-Hearns I Takes PATIENCE to Watch N it's Entirety,but REED watches that 1 Fairly Frequently...Ditto for Hagler-Mugabi...

I'm a little sadistic so I enjoy the beatdowns too.

    Toney-Barkley, Mayweather-Gatti, DLH-Gatti, Toney-Holyfield, Bowe-Gonzalez, Tyson-Biggs, etc..

    I'm with REED. I enjoy beatdowns. RJ-Hall, Mayweather-Gatti, Qawi-Martin, Tito-Mayorga, Nunn-Tate, Tyson-Biggs, Duran-Moore, Corrales-Manfredy those are some fights that stay in my rotation.

Also I watch Mayorga-Forrest II alot. I dunno why, its not a GREAT fight, but I always enjoy watching it. I watch Hatton-Tszyu alot too, even though its a maul-fest.

I also enjoy masterful boxing clinics. My favorites to watch are Jones-Toney, Camacho-Ramirez, Whitaker-Pineda, and Benitez-Duran.

Most of Tito Trinidad's fights are fun to me. He's the most entertaining fighter of the last 7-8 years. I've watched most of his fights more than several times. He was bang for your buck. Except for that piece of crap fight against Winky, that was pure junk. But the other fights against Mayorga, Vargas, Joppy, Hopkins, Reid, Thiam, etc are terrific.
