George can say whatever he wants to Arben, but it did not happen.
I don't know what brother Shaun's motives are behind this, but it did not happen and that is a fact.

So you believe everything Henry says? If Henry told you to scamper around on the floor like a rat, would you do it?

This is way out of line here, and you jokers have attempted to ruin this thread.

All I know is I saw an interview by Karl with Henry so I know he has access.. I think it's pretty clear that Karl DID get an answer straight from the horses mouth. That's tough to legitimately counter..

So I'll go talk to George and perform an interview with him where he will explain the details surrounding his sparring with Henry.

I confess. I've sparred with Shaun George and Chris Henry. I made them both quit. There you have it, a FightBeat exclusive.

Shaun's a decent enough guy, and not a bad fighter, but I have a hard time believing he's forced any decent fighter to quit in sparring. That is, of course, unless Shaun has a completely different style when he spars.

On the flip side - Shaun George has been on TV enough times, and his name rings out enough (within the industry) to where if Chris is claiming he never heard of him...

    - then he's either lying, trying to pull a Floyd move
    - or he doesn't pay much attention to anything beyond the top level and his immediate surroundings.

Methinks there are now two mysteries to investigage.

All that said, I wouldn't mind seeing Henry-George. Shaun's been on TV a few times, and Henry can use the exposure before advancing to the next level.

honestly, I've seen George spar at Gleasons. He wouldn't even run my out of the ring. That's the truth.

It's also the truth, that Richard Hall is the best name on both guy's winning records...

Henry never fought Richard Hall :dunno: ... maybe he fought someone w/ that same name, but if so, it wasn't the same guy that fought Roy way back when, and most recently, George

Now the question here is, who do you believe?

The admitted press agent to Chris Henry?

Or a reporter with no ties to either camp?

Therin lies the conflict, Karl and Carlos.

The bigger question is WHO GIVES A FUCK! Seriously, you are both going on the word of the fighters. although Arben is credible source, is George credible? Who can verify the sparring outside of both camps. If nobody then you've got nothing.

Let's hope Chris is nothing like Corrales outside the ring. Corrales was better to his fans than he was his family.

Yeah, on a Delvin Rodriguez or Jason Litzau undercard.

LOL, I think you're talkin bout me there.. haha.

I've seen Shauna George fight, and am not sure he could beat Donovan George, much less Chris Henry. I know Terrance Smith thinks his fight was stopped prematurely and said he's not very tough. I've seen Chris spar with James Kirkland, Marcus Johnson, and Andre Dirrell, amongst others, and he dished out as well as he received, so doubt he'd ever quit a sparring session, barring injury.

Chris put Rayco Saunders in the hospital as well..

Chris's trainer confirmed he's never sparred Shauna.. Karl, these guys are winding you up. Perhaps George sparred with Christopher "Shaka" Henry, the well-known ruler of the Carribean belts..

Chris didnt gain any weight to fight Pedro. He was about 185, fully clothed with pockets full.
He's lean and makes 175 but no way to make 168. He won't be going up anytime soon. The heavyweight fight was just a good opportunity for them, and they'd sparred with Pedro so were confident and knew what he brought to the table.

Pedro fights Adam Richards next. Look for a KO there.
And yes, Adam ran Chris out of the ring in sparring.. J/K

  29. Jake

Jake WBC Silver Diamond Emeritus Champ

By that you mean... Adam's KOing Pedro, right?

Is that going to be televised? I saw they added Lamont Peterson to the card, though not sure if Ricky Quiles still qualifies as a TV-worthy opponent, considering the (what should've been a) career ending beating Nate gave him earlier this year.

Yes, Richards by KO. I was told ESPN2. I imagine it'll make the broadcast.
Looks like Prof's favorite fighter is also on the card, Gary Southern Pride Bergeron. Last seen looking for "the special bottle he mixed earlier", in the dressing room..
