I havent heard any talk about this fight. Who do you think will win? Does anyone know what weight will these 2 fight on?:cheer:
unless it's an eliminator of some sort, I think the weight is going to be 142. I can see Forbes taking it up the ass again on the cards, much like he did against D-Hop a few months ago. The money must be seriously right for him to once again take on a Golden Boy fighter on a Golden Boy PPV card. Hopefully they'll get it right this time, but I'm not holding my breath.
Panchito Pozole wont win this fight, hopefully Forbes brings the accumulation beatdown as I don't want to see the judges scorecards at the end
Maybe Panchito will FINALLY put together all the talent he has, and will stop Forbes. But thats prob wishful thinking.
Thinking back, it's absolutely hilarious that at one point people were talking about Bojado and Cotto in the same breath. Many people even felt Bojado was the more talented of the 2, and would be a world champ sooner etc :: Look at the difference between the 2 after a few years ::
Yup...Bojado has what 1-2 fight into his comeback..and he is fighting Forbes...to season/and tough for Bojado..IMO..
Damn. :: I even remember some people predicting Bojado to KO Mayweather in 3-4 years. Talk about being wrong. :eeeek: ::
:dunno: Why? .. Steve is a fucken hunk!, a blitzy, glitzy, supreme talent, a ripped shiny physical prodigy too, he's hard luck for sure, but I remember one glorious night live from El Salvador, he shattered the chin of the bi-partison hero while obliging the phone-booth war that Carlos Hernandez claimed Steve was afraid to take, Forbes sent him reeeeling into the ropes, all the little 'Latinking's' panicked and worked dilligently on a plan to bail thier baby out of there, and alas, a cut, caused by a crisp Stevie left cross, purported thier sabotage, a way to hijack the inevitable Forbes knockout, and parlay the decision to the tyranny of the corrupt El Serote judges,...yes, Steve Forbes should have, and would have, STILL been a reigning champion, and there's no shame being knocked out by him, Bojado can fall to the canvas with his head held high. :cheer:
Forbes is no damn elite fighter. If Panchito has any hopes of one day full-filling his elite talent, he should beat Forbes.
I"m surprised Golden Boy matched Bojado with a fighter like Forbes. For Bojado's first fight back in a big card he would look better against a puncher than a slick boxer. Forbes will school the shit out of him.
:: Sounds like your still shaken up from that epic battle a few years ago. Only 5 ko's!! Carlos scoffed, as he bulled forward like Rocky Marciano :: ...suddenly reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel! like a freshly hooked marlon. It's 'SIR' Steven Forbes to you.
TOUGH Fight for Bojado... Bojado had a BIG Size Advantage Over Jesse James Leija & it DIDN'T Matter...So his Size Edge N this Bout WON'T B a Factor Either:nono: ... Like Leija,Forbes is a TOUGH,SEASONED Vet...While he ISN'T Quite as Strong as Leija,N REED's Opinion,Forbes is QUICKER & THROWS More Shots than a Latter Day Leija Did... Forbes ISN'T Afraid to Mix it Up w/a Bigger Guy Either...That'll WEAR on Bojado's STAMINA,which CAN'T B Good After a Loooooooooong Layoff... Stevie DOESN'T Hit Hard Enough to STOP Bojado, but REED Expects him to Win a UNANIMOUS Decision Here...Or a ROBBERY Along the Lines of his Bout w/Demetrius Hopkins... REED
I wonder what style Bojado will be fighting with. Me hopes he's going back to the more offensive style he had before Maywether got a hold of him. If that's the case I'll be rooting for him to win. I didn't see the Forbes-Hopkins fight, but I find it hard to believe Bojado can't beat Forbes. When Forbes was a lw he never seemed able to win the big one and he's a fricking "contender" for christs sake.
