anyone know if HBO are planning to film a documentary series in the build up to this fight in the same way they did for DLH-Mayweather?.....that was a great series in its own right and really made for an exciting build up, and with Mayweather and Hatton again you have two great, contrasting personalities, it could be even better anyone know if there are plans for this?........would you watch it?
One's a black man, one's a white man. Very good contrast! This could get the Larry/Cooney hype.
This FIGHT is huge! Why? Because this is not merely about Mayweather vs Hatton, no this is about the BLACK RACE vs the WHITE RACE...this is about the black man's revenge for the evil done by the white Englishman over the years!! :warning: :: Just kidding!
They have one for all their Pay Per Views. Why would they not have one for what will probably be their second biggest Pay Per View of the year?
Ohhhhh..... :: It would be cool if they did it because hatton is suck a laid back dude and mayweather will have his dancing with the stars thing going on.
It would be hilarious to see the two phony sides of Floyd competing on TV. On ABC, he's the smiling affable guy he wants everyone to think he is. On HBO, he's the prickish, wannabe thug he wants everyone to think he is. Floyd's got more personalities than Sybil. I really worry about the guy once he gets his ass whupped.
that is a funny thought:: You know he will be all smiles on ABC. Then on the HBO, he will let us know he's still a gangsta and gonna murda that white boy!
Don´t need to be kidding. Whatever prejudice you want to live out, this match-up fits the bill. Although I think it´s more like an America vs. Europe thing. If Hatton wins he´s P4P No.1 and that along with the European dominance of the heavyweight/cruiserweight/ lightheavyweight/ supermiddleweight division is huge news. With the exception of Dawson America has next to nothing in these divisions. I don´t like Hatton much, was rooting for Tszyu bad, but just to think the pale ugly kid, who was labelled a talentless bumbeater for years sitting on top of the boxing world is hilarious to me.
I think that they're going to focus more on Mayweather's popularity now that he had his fight with Oscar than recycle the smae ol' Mayweather.
I know Hatton isn't short on cash, but if he beats Floyd, he could be that next biggest ticket since Oscar without a doubt. The possiblity of an undefeated Hatton after beating Floyd makes a promoter nut in his pants. Could you imagine how big the fight could be between Hatton and Cotto if they both win their next fights?
I think Hatton would sooner take on Oscar instead of Cotto, should he defeat Floyd Jr. Oscar is a hundred times bigger in the sport afterall.
Whoever wins, I really think they could sell out Yankee Stadium in 2008 if they fight Cotto. It would be even bigger since they're tearing it down.
& it Gives an Even MORE "TalentLESS,PALE,UGLY BUM" like YOU Hope,Right???... Viva La RAZA!!!... REED:clap:
possibly, but a fight with Cotto in NYC could be just as big(possibly:: ) Guess I would just be pulling for the better fight rather than another fight with a past-prime ODH.
Exactly, my life could have turned out so differently if Roy had the balls to let it happen 10 years ago, but now I can feel it...  ::
