Shane. Mosley fought toe-to-toe with him and eventully took over and wore him down. PBF edged (narrowly but just) a slower version of Oscar but never got him under his control
Niether you dipshit. Oscar beat both of them at 154. Using the word "handle" concerning the PBF/DLH is fuckin ridiculous to say the least. You should replace the word "HANDLE" with the word "GIFT" and then this thread would make some sense. BTW , check this clip and see how Floyd handled Oscar in the running and clinching game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dss8VYRjxKo
I thought Oscar beat Shane, 7 rounds to 5. I thought Floyd beat Oscar 8 rounds to 4. I culdn't care less about toe to toe or other shit because from what i saw of the two fights, Floyd's win was clearer.
Who did Oscar handle better at 154 - Mayweather or Mosely Since Oscar beat them both at 154 , discuss. Oscar won the rematch with Mosely in a hard fought close decision. PBF simply refused to fight and ran all night. When he couldn't run , he covered up and clinched. Here is a clip to check out Floyds loss to Oscar and his lack of will to engage that cost him his first defeat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dss8VYRjxKo
I'd say Shane, not because I'm a fan but because they looked like they were in a fight afterwards and they actually got hit with the kind of punches that reduce brain cell counts. In other words: Mosley-Oscar = Good tough fight. You came away thinking you got robbed by the judges. Floyd-Oscar = Sparring session. You came away thinking you got robbed by the fighters.
I never even watched the whole thing. I saw a few rds and was like I'll watch the whole thing later, but from what I saw I could never get up to watch the whole thing and likely never will. ::
I thought Oscar edged the decision against Mosley but lost to Mayweather. Obviously i have to say Floyd. Both fights were pretty lame though.
Then that means the 2007 Oscar was totally shot? There is still a big difference between from the 2003-2007 Oscar!:flip:
Oscar didn't look like he had slipped when he had wiped the floor with Mayorga! :nono: He looked the same in that fight as he had done when struggling with Vargas. Both fights preceded the Floyd and Shane fights respectively. So I'm calling BULLSHIT on that.
Shot is when you don't have your reflexes. You can see the opening but can't react, you can't get your punches off. Oscar is past his prime, but not shot. "Shot" is a pretty overused term.
No they didn't. Oscar fought Campas before he fought Mosley in the rematch. And he looked better against Vargas than he did against Mayorga.
No need to flip me off, amigo ... Oscar was past his prime in 2003 (and at 154) and even more so in 2007. Is there a law that officially declares fighters as shot once they're four years into their post-prime career? ::
What ? You could clearly see the slippage in the Mayorga fight. Your attempts at uplifting Mayweather is ridiculous. Doesn't really matter cause Mayweather lost to a shot DLH ::
c'mon Sly, now you're seriously overreaching. Floyd beat Oscar more convincingly than did Shane. Just accept that as your victory and move on.
