    Well, rap isn't quite my thing, but, wasn't Kane around with the likes of NWA in the late 80's ?.. 'Fuck tha Police' ..is actually a fascinating masterpiece, I don't particularly hate this genre of music, but it certainly sounds 'gangsta' to me.

    NWA helped popularize "gangsta rap" in the late 80s.

    Kane was around tht era, but a different type of rapper with different subject matter thant those in NWA.

    let it be said that Rob Base, Young MC and Tone Loc were also part of the gangsta rap era.

    I watched the first season with Holyfield, but once he got the boot I was done with the show.

    I'm not gonna lie I watched the shit when Master P was on their. I saw a little bit of the funny faces that Evander used to make while on it. I saw a little of Jerry Rice, didn't see any of Emmit but I will watch Mayweather. I'll Holla 5000
