Two things: 1) Holt keeps saying that they didn't give him credit for two knockdowns, as if he didn't get credit for either one. Maybe it's the way he's saying it, but he did get credit for one. There was one that was waved off, that appeared to have gone either way (most objective refs would've ruled it a knockdown), but he undoubtedly got credit for the 6th round knockdown, where Torres fell flat on his back as if he got shot. 2) It's not just Eddie, but too many reporters are going on Holt's version, and reporting as if they saw the fight themselves. It creates a false perception of what actually took place, because the he-said, she-said eventually gets traced back to Holt and/or his team.
He got hit with a empty beer beaker during the count for Torres in the 6th round. Probably distracted him so much, he forgot to go after a visibly hurt Torres. I saw no grabbing of the feet to be honest, but I applaud the effort by the person, who tried to stop Holt from running. :: Overall it was a really lame fight. Give Holt the rematch, put it on American TV and watch Holt take his place next to Raheem on the "banned from TV"-list. Torres was a beaten man after the knockdown, you could see his hesitation, but Holt failed to capitalize.
he spoke about not seeing the fight in the beginning of the video. But you know me Jake, I FORGOT TO PRESS RECORD
I watched the whole fight thats exactly what Holt get he got gassed then spent the entire 11th round literally RUNNING for his life clinching and running.he was holding going against the ropes and WHAM when he got up he looked like vernon whe he got KTFO by Mayorga! The both had that face of DAMN i just got hit by a can of WHAT THE FUCK!
Terrible stoppage by an overdramatic referee who wanted to put himself on tv and create some controversy to further his own officiating career in the media. It didn't work ese, all it did was show everyone what an incompetent official you are.
