Juan Diaz vs. Hector Camacho Sr.

Thoughts?

 

IMO Diaz is a golden brown young man whose limbs have that smooth and rounded look that Roberto Duran’s used to have, and that makes for rapid punching muscles. His jaw line and cheekbones are offset by a bold street fighter’s nose. Diaz is as lean and taut as a Greyhound, and probably just as fast.

who the hell knows? if Diaz "could" beat Camacho, he sure hasn't done anything to prove it.

i have to go with Camacho. Diaz can't punch for shit, so Camach could win exchanges with his hand-speed and then hold on the inside. He'd win a wide decision.

 

Camacho would stop him late in the most one sided fight you'll ever see.

It isn't his speed it is the duel ability to be lean and taut. After you add his pivoting availability Camacho might be headed for the morgue.

 

Even now, Camacho would have a good shot at beating him.
