I was on the Maxboxing board, and saw it posted. Apparently according to boxingscene, this fight could be made for Dec 1 on Showtime. Dont know if theres any truth to it, but if it is, its a great fight and finally a TRUE test for Cintron.

It'll take place in Atlantic City. I'm not sure on the date. News sources from Ghana are already reporting it, so we HAVE to believe them.

    Great fight if it's made.

Yup. Clottey will be Kerm's truth machine. It'll show us if he's REALLY improved, or not. If he someone stopped Clottey it'd be hella impressive.

Margarito's name has also been mentioned for this fight.

Both are Top Rank fighters, but I imagine Clottey comes with a smaller price tag.

Meh, can't understand the love for Clottey, I think he's very ordinary. I would expect Cintron to win this going away although I doubt he takes him out...

Poor Paul and his promoter fucked themselves when dismissing a Cintron fight as not high on their list of priorities. Cintron wanted this fight.

It won't surprise me if Clottey wins a UD. he's very hard to hit and very resilient. Kermit's KO of Mathysse never did shit for me :dunno:

a stronger rumor is supposedly Zab and Margarito fighting later this year or early next year. Well, not even strong, but the fight that Zab and his people are seeking.

Ugh, you guys still care about Clottey?

    I'd rather see Cintron/Margarito II.

Zab will take yet another brutal ass whuppin if that fight comes. However, for ALL the hate Judah gets, you gotta give him at least this..... he's always be willing to fight ANYBODY. That much he gets credit for.

Didn't Clottey get brutalized by an up and comer on that last Versus card?

Clottey makes mince meat out of Coralles while Cintron KO's some nondiscript no-names that most people didn't even see.., yet Clottey is the one who's overrated?

Don't get me wrong, I respect Cintron and I'm sure he is improving, but Clottey just seems to be a guy who gets unjust hatred. Sure he twice burned out mentally in a couple fights he was winning but the guy is pretty talented IMO.

I haven't seen the "new" Cintron yet, but I have a hard time picking him over Clottey no matter how good he's improved. Cintron's going to have the same problems Chico had trying to get past Clottey's defense.

Although I predicted this would be a good matchup in an earlier post, I don't think it's a good move for team Cintron to be making. Clottey is the kind of guy who should be avoided unless absolutely necessary. I'd rather face P. Williams rangy boxing defensive style over Clottey's.

    Clottey by 10rd TKO.

That may or may not be true, but Chico gave a good performance and looked strong to me. The difference in that fight IMO was Clottey's superior defense.

In an action packed bombs out war, Clottey sustained less damage because of his defense. Chico was throwing good strong combos, he just took more damage than he dooled out. I'd expect a similar result versus Cintron but of course I expect the Clottey haters to throw salt.

Lib four Lib, had Chico come in at his apparent 'best weight' of "130 - 135" the night he fought Clottey, he would've been knocked the fuck out in 1 round, :dunno: why did you answer that post sensibley?..:nono:

Forgive me Kauki, but there are so few threads these days that hold my interest not to mention the numerous FB members who have me on ignore, that I have to take every oppurtunity I can to commune with people.

By the way thanks for talking to me, you're in the top 3 of FB members who even know I exist.

So did Mosley. Chico looked great in that fight, he just got beat by a better fighter. He had already said he absolutely couldn't shrink himself down to pick on smaller guys anymore so he had to fight somebody his own size. He lost, to a better guy. Now maybe Chico was at a disadvantage fighting at that weight for the 1st time, but he was also at a disadvantage fighting a guy with the type of defense that Clottey employs.

Clottey would beat Cintron, he's alot better than given credit for although I'll admit he has flaws.

REED Says Chico DIDN'T Belong there Cause he had NO Power on his Shots,he Got OUTMUSCLED on the Inside & he DIDN'T Look the Least Bit Quick N the Delivery of his Inside Shots...

The MOMENT it was Announced that Chico was Facing Clottey,REED KNEW Chico would Lose Decisively (Quite a FEW Posters did,actually)...NOT Because Clottey is THAT Great, but Because REED Knew Chico was GIVING AWAY Toooooooo Many of his Customary Advantages...

They were the Same HEIGHT,but Clottey was the BIGGER Man...Chico's Body was Borderline SOFT on Fightnight...Clottey was ROCK Hard,NO Fat on him...

True, if Clottey wasn't so damn passive and such a rotten finisher, he would've KO'ed Chico...
