It's gottabe Mayweather vs Corrales, although Calzaghe-Lacy isn't far behind. Jones-Toney deserves mention also.

Of Course you could also mention Tyson-Spinks, except Spinks didn't hold a title at the time (although Linear champ).

    Any other contenders?

Good grief...another thinly disguised Floyd appreciation thread.

The next one will be: "What is the most gifted second generation fighter whose middle name is Joy?"

chico managed to win a round against Floyd

It has to be Calzaghe-Lacy. Forget a round, you can barely make a case for Jeff winning a single minute in that fight.

    Carlos Zarate vs Alfonso Zamora...

Combined they Had OVER 70 Wins, NO Losses & a Total of ONE of those Fights went the Distance (Zarate had 1 Decision Win in 45 Bouts)...

Strangely Enough they EACH Held Bantamweight Titles SIMULTANEOUSLY, yet Met in a NON-Title Bout:lol: ...

Zarate DOMINATED Zamora, then KO'ed him N the 4th Round...

Later in his Career, Carlos Zarate Suffered his 1st Loss to the Undefeated Wilfredo Gomez...Zarate was DOMINATED N that Bout...

Wilfredo Gomez BARELY Misses this Cut, Cause even though he was UNDEFEATED when Salvador Sanchez DESTROYED him, Sanchez had 1 Loss Already....

Rafael Ruelas also just misses the cut, because he lost count of the ref's count in his one loss.

floyd outboxed corrales then gradually broke him down. calzaghe beat lacy's ass from round 1 to 12. doesn't get any worse than that.

zarate/zamora is condidered one of the best wars ever - hardly a one-sided beat-down.

Zamora Fought on Even Terms for MAYBE a ROUND...

    After that,it was ALL Zarate...

w/Out Question that was a 1 Sided Fight...

i disagree. zamora's tank was emtying faster than zarate's, but while there was fuel, he was landing hard shots and backing zarate up. he clearly not as talented as zarate, but he got enough links in to disqualify it as one-sided.

Jones-Toney wins hands down. James was a helluva lot better than Corrales, and LIGHTYEARS better than Lacy.

Didn't know Corralles had the IBF belt when they fought.:nono: If he didn't, he's not a titlist.

Corrales was stripped before the Mayweather fight. Vernon Forrest vs. Shane Mosley was pretty one-sided.

    Calzaghe-Lacy.

    Such a one sided fight.

Calzaghe every minute of that fight and was 10 levels above Lacy that night.

Agreed - both men were landing heavily on each other and both got rocked several times throughout the 4 rounds.

THere seemed to be an air of "inevitability" that Zarate would eventually stop Zamora...but I wouldn't call it one-sided.

    Peace.

    disagREED...

Because of DOUB, REED RE-Watched this Fight a Couple Days Ago...

Sure, Zamora was GAME & he LANDED Some Shots, but he was DOMINATED...if,If,IF he "Rocked" Zarate it was ONCE, During Round 2...It Looked to B MORE of a Product of Zarate's BALANCE, but REED'll CONCEDE that Instance to Zamora...

Zarate LANDED Left Hooks to the Head & Body AT WILL, he RIPPED Uppercuts into Zamora's Chin, Repeatedly SNAPPED his Head Back w/JABS & Dropped Right CROSSES on him, as Well...He Probably LANDED OVER 100 Punches in 4 Rounds:lol: ...He COULDN'T MISS Zamora...

Zamora was VISIBLY HURT in EVERY Round...Zamora LOST EVERY Round...Zamora was BADLY Hurt by a Series of Left Hooks in Round 3, Then Got DROPPED just as it Appeared he was Weathering that Storm, Later that Round...

From this Point on, Zamora was on VERY SHAKY Legs...Early in Round 4, Zamora was Dropped for the 2nd Time, then a Few Seconds Later, was Left Laying FLAT on his FACE, as his Corner Threw in the Towel...

Alfonso Zamora Got his ASS WHIPPED,in REED's Opinion...@ BEST,Zamora had ONE "Moment", but All the Rest of the Way,it was Carlos Zarate's Fight...

It was VERY 1-Sided to REED...
