all i read was on fightnews right after the fight was made, where he was very respectful to Floyd and said he is a good fighter and all...

and then u read Mayweather saying Hatton disrespected him so much all the time... :dunno:

I must have missed those every turns...

A new guy runs the show now in Nevada. Zero tolerance policy at press conferences. If Hopkins gets 200K taken from his purse for doing a little 'pie-face' to Wright, it's best that you obey the laws. You get me, dawg?

 just because you don't get the whole picture doesn't mean it's whack dude.

i agree with hut huts last post and you of course don't have to, bigdawg. but u don't have the monopoly on what is weak shit and what is not and that goes for Hattons actions and my posts. :tease:

Because Floyd offers NOTHING outside the ring. He talks and acts like a fool and his smacktalk is 3rd grave level sh*t. Everybody laughs at him, the fake thug. Hatton will take care of his business IN the ring.

That's what Hopkins did to Wright and got fined 200K. Are you not paying attention dawg? That's physical assault and it wouldn't fly. You can't touch another man at a press conference to hype a fight. There are penalties for such actions.

I bet anybody on this board would rather take on Floyd's pussy ass on the street before they take a piece of Hitman Hatton on the street. Those british bulldog types are some tough nuts to crack.

What did Hatton say to Merchant during his post fight interview. Didn't he say that his fight against Castillo had more action then all of PBF's fights combined. What part of talking shit during a post fight interview when PBF aint around don't u understand. Why couldn't he have repeated what he said to PBF's face. That's all I'm asking. Instead he choose to cower away and play pocket pool. I'LL Holla 5000

Dude, Floyd getting up in somebody's face is hardly the most intimidating sight. Floyd's an actor, that's what he is. Hatton knows it and we know it. There's nothing genuine about Floyd trying to get into somebody's face and talking some 3rd grade level smack.
Remember when Floyd was trying to pull that crap while DLH was on the scales? And then Bernard stepped in front of Floyd, looking down on him and telling him to bring his sh*t?
Floyd's a wimp. Hatton's gonna rock his ghetto fake thug world!

It seems like it's only the black guys on here and a few fake 'street' guys who are calling Hatton a bitch for not smacking the taste out of Floyd's fake ass. Not surprising.

Again, it was at a weigh-in, not a press conference. A state commission sanctions a weigh-in; they have nothing to do with press conferences, especially ones that are held in a state or country not involved with the fight. Such as the 5 pressers lined up in LA, NY, Grand Rapids, London and Manchester, for the Dec. 8 fight to be held in Las Vegas, NV.

Let me copy this now and paste later,as I'm sure I'll have to repeat myself throughout the thread,

For what it's worth, though, the pictures don't tell the whole story. Some reports indicate that Hatton did in fact take more shots at Floyd's role on Dancing With the Stars.

    http://u.tv/newsroom/indepth.asp?id=39298&pt=s

The hype has already begun and the pair took turns to disrespect each other as they met for a news conference in Los Angeles to promote their upcoming contest.

Hatton first played a video which poked fun at Mayweather for taking dancing lessons in preparation for his upcoming appearance on the hit TV show `Dancing with the Stars.`

"He is doing the show `Dancing with the Stars` and I think that`s how he is boxing," Hatton said. "Floyd always backs up. That`s the woman part."

Dawgg you are clueless on this one. Hatton is a stone cold killer is all. Stone cold killers don't give a fuck!! Thats his image and he punked Floyd in that exchange (though Floyd will win the fight).

Look at Hatton Dawg!! Now I understand you call some guys prison bait it might work.... Look at that ugly pasty motherfucker... calling him jailbait? weak... Everybdy can see that even the blindest prison homo wouldn't touch Hatton with any part of his anatomy. Floyd would get eaten up in the big house by comparison.

I want you to think for a second Dawg. What kind of felon you rather deal with? some bitch who you can get to fly at you at any time? or some mother fucker that you could slap in the grill and they would look through you and smile?

Calling a spade a spade, that's all. Just saying that some coloured folk are more into that 'manhood' sh*t than most others. Even though history proves that it's all useless fight hype and that Floyd has proven to be nothing more than a bad actor who goes over the top to squeeze out a few extra ppv buys.
Did you lads not learn your lessons already when he talked sh*t about the UFC and then retracked his words when a guy his own size told him to step up and Floyd got all prissy and said "Man I was just joking, I was just trying to promote my fight, I love the UFC!"
The guy's a fake, a wannabe gangsta! Hatton laughs at the fraud and so do we.

You obviously didn't follow any part of the DLH/Floyd hype if you don't remember this.

I think it is a cultural thing. In my old hood if somoene got up in your face you had to respond, but when you get older things change.

The first time this occured to me was when I saw this korean kid get shittalked by this black kid in the 6th grade (keep in mind this was like 1970 or so not many kids knew martial arts).... The kid ignored him and the Black Kid smacked the kid in the face. The kid just smiled and everybody thought the kid was a punk. Afterschool the Black kid thought he would continue the job... he goes to punk the kid and Baaaammmm!!! round kick to the head lights out!! Black kid is shaking on the ground with no pupils in his eyes.

Floyd talked mad sh*t about the UFC, calling them a bunch of street bums with tatoos who couldn't be boxers so instead they chose to be MMA fighters. Dana White, president of the UFC, made a challenge to Floyd to step in to the cage with one of their fighters. Dana chose Sean Sherk, a lightweight, about 5'6, 155lbs or so, as an opponent for Floyd. They even attended Floyd/Dlh. Dana was actually willing to present Floyd with the biggest purse any fighter had ever seen in the UFC.
Floyd after the DLH fight then apologized for his words and said it was all part of the act in order to boost sales for his fight with DLH.

So again I ask, how can you take this guy's act seriously? All that sh*t about getting in Hatton's face and talking crap, it's all nonsense. He's already been considered a phony tough guy who backtracks his words. He's only doing stuff like this to help himself. To get you interested in him.

it's not even a cultural thing...it's an enviornment or neighborhood thing. doesn't matter what race, culture or ethnic background you are...all races, cultures and ethnicities have tough people you don't fuck with. being from NYC, it commonly known you don't go into the rough italian, irish, russian, puerto rican, black, chinese or any areas like that talking shit...you may never be heard from again. all of those areas have real gangsters living there...

if I am not mistaken the owner, Dana White, offered to put his lightweight champion (they have different weight classes than boxing) against Floyd if he thought that the UFC was everything Floyd said it was (dont remember the exact phrasings). Floyd backed off the claims once White became more serious about the offer.

and to me there seems to be a lot of hypocrisy in this thread. On one side had the roles been reversed and Floyd sat there calm and collected everyone siding with Floyd would have called him professional and above the thuggery. Those for Hatton would now start calling Mayweather a girl for not saying anything back.

talking to Ray Hatton I got a sense that they knew Floyd would do this. However, they also knew they have 4 more stops on this tour and that Floyd's act is going to be the same throughout or at least until they get to London and Manchester where they expect massive amounts of people weather permitting (Ray said it has been a miserable summer there)

my opinion? Both handled this presser well. Floyd drummed up interest and Hatton looked like a cool customer not afraid of Mayweather. Had Hatton been visibly upset about what Floyd was saying then I could say Mayweather got under his skin but right after this (mind you Floyd did it twice) Hatton looked as calm as when the presser began.

those buying into the hype of this really need to relax on it. Some people are built the way you expect everyone to be. Hatton handled it well. Floyd, IMO, did as well and looked great for his fans giving everyone a good show
