Giants like the Klitschko's and Valuev have grown too big for the small guys like Byrd, Ibragimov, Povetkin, Holyfield etc. It's easy for Wlad to beat down all those small guys. The giants should be in a league of their own. There is too much weight difference between the 200lbs Byrd and 330 lbs Valuev. What do you think?
no! alot of these fuckers are not giants they are just heavy meaning they are fatasses. There should be a weight limit depending on your height. This will make guys like Kirk Johnson and David Tua stay in decent shape. Of course it wont' happen but it should.
:::: There would be like 2-3 legitimate guys in the division who would fight each other for the belts all time. The rest would be has been fat-asses who would use the division as an excuse to stop training and eat more McRib's so they can get a title shot. Is Nicolai Valuev really that much better then everybody else that he needs his own divison? ::
I think the last thing boxing needs is more weight classes. Why don't we add a few more sanctioning bodies while we're at it. TFK
because there are only 26 letters in the alphabet. In order to create more sanctioning bodies, we'd have to extend to 5-letter acronyms, which don't quite roll off the tongue the same but weight classes are based on numbers, therefore infinite. always room for more. look for Jones-Trinidad to serve as the inaugral junior light heavyweight championship, weights no higher than 170 but no smaller than 169 :bears:
There's so much untapped territory for potential titles out there. We don't have a Moon Champion yet. Or a DVD\VCR Champion. A YouTube Champion (Our own Gerald Tucker maybe?). TFK
