id say by the poll results we have 6 black rooting for only black posters so far and 18 people of all ages shapes and colors who aren't biased as fuck

 

So the only objective people in this poll are the ones rooting for Hatton?

 

If you think Floyd is more exciting than Hatton, you are biased, fact.

If you think Floyd winning will lead to bigger and better fights than hatton winning, you are biased, fact.

The only people who have spoken out in favor of Floyd in this thread are...surprise black guys who always root for RJJ, Floyd type fighters.

I agree wholeheartedly. Even though Floyd comes across as a total dick sometimes, he has no problem treating his fans with the utmost respect, from what I've heard about at least.

Besides, Floyd is coming across as being far more confident in his abilities than Hatton is. I haven't seen a banker's smile from Hatton yet, which is the TRUEST sign of a white man feeling superior.

I'm actually hoping that Floyd Gattis hatton.

Hatton can be cut and so I'm really wishing that Floyd lacerates his face and pumells him round after round with the blood flowing into Ricky's eyes and Floyd just toying with him and embarrasing him before the ref stops it.

I hope Mayweather goes at Hatton the same way he did GATTI then it will be a fight.....and win or lose nobody can say Mayweather fought like a bitch.

 

It's a guaranteed to be a fight because Ricky is undefeated with alot of pride and is coming to win. He knows he's not a master boxer and that his only bet is to bully Mayweather the way Duran bullied Leonard in Montreal. He'll bumrush Floyd (perhaps an unfortunate way of putting it) from the getgo and floyd will be FORCED to fight.

It'll be exciting...and Floyd will butcher him and show everyone what's up!

 

It's a goddamn shame I'm not at home right now, or I'd grab my camera and take a picture of myself doing it. It's also known as the crushing smile. You see it on 'movie' serial killers. And bankers. All the black guys I know are terrified when I pull it out.

Of course all the white guys are gonna be rooting for Hatton. Who else are they gonna root for? Klitchko? Guy has a chin made outta paper-mache.

Floyd is more exciting then Hatton. Thats not being biased thats telling it like it is. Holding isn't entertaining to me.

Point is Hatton is extremly boring and Mayweather has been in alot of entertaining fights.

what's deceptive about Hatton is that he's a dull fighter but in fast forward motion. he's not a complete please-shut-off-the-tv stinker like Zahir Raheem, but how people get that he's an exciting fighter just tells me that they don't pay close enough attention. Either that, or they're drawn in by the fight environment - which would help explain why Floyd is so often referred to as a boring fighter.

 

for what it's worth though, i wouldn't say Mayorga is more exciting than Floyd. it's exciting to watch him get his ass whooped, but he's also been stuck in his share of stinkers.

 

Mayorga fights are real fun to watch. He has no defence and relentlessly comes forward throwing bombs. If a Mayo fight sucks its 100% the opponents fault. Hell Cory Stinks is one fighter is less entertaining then Hatton. Of course you cant blame Mayo for that fight.

 

i was surprised by the number of black folks who showed up to root for Gatti against Floyd.

but surprisingly, there are lot of koreans in the DC area who are mayweather fans but probably because they made $ from betting on him against Osqueer.

 

why not? why is it that Zab Judah can turn out two watchable fights (the first one a damn good fight) against Spinks, but Mayorga was unable to?

anyone can plod forward and block punches with their face all night (at least as long as their chin holds up). The fights Mayo's been that have stunk are due to the opponent, yes, but also due to the fact that Mayo lacks the skills to do anything about it.

 

Zab is obviously alot more skilled and has the speed to catch Stinks.

Everytime ive watched Stinks he has stunk out the joint. Its amazing to me that a place with a such high crime rate like STL is where Stinks can fight in front of 20,000 people.

BTW while on the subject of Zab i gotta say im forever grateful he knocked out Stinks.

And Hatton may be a white boy but he is not the kind of white boy Floyd dealt with growing up in Michigan.

This is a cultural clash not a racial clash! And despite the sourpusses like Double L who don't think much of Hatton he has proven he CAN be very good. He is the toughest opponent for Floyd right now bar none. Give Cotto a little more time and Cotto could be as tough, but not yet.... So lets enjoy the fight....
