New York-September 24, 2007-Joe DeGuardia's Star Boxing today announced a spectacular fight card coming Thursday, October 18th to The Grand Ballroom at The Manhattan Center, NYC.

The main event features Vinny Maddalone 27-4, (19KO's) returning to the ring after losing a bloody battle against legendary former Heavyweight Champion Evander “The Real Dealâ€￾ Holyfield in Corpus Christi, Texas on March 13, 2007.

"Loss?", yeah that's right with the parentheses, I was there in person and he got the shit kicked out of him.
A bloody battle?
Damn straight, the only one bleeding was Vinny, all over the joint.

 

To be fair, it says "loss" record, not that the loss itself would have been questionable

 

I read it the same way, though, UGBK. And there's no questioning that the release was written to dismiss the fight as just a loss, as if Vinny is or ever was relevant even in today's shitty heavyweight division.

 

Maybe I should delete my previous post so that nobody would even think that I was actually defending Maddalone or the article
