In self defense training you have to actually modify stuff and use different training procedures. My teacher had the satisfaction of training a women who reversed a blade on a rapist and put him in intensive care. That to me is one of the most satisfying experiences one could have as a trainer/teacher. Women in a class is also great as it has a good balancing effect on the rest of the class. Women can get guys to focus on technique because they often depend more on technical perfection than brute strength.
