Taylor's been protected from punchers long enough. You will see why this Saturday when Pavlik lands a big right hand that puts Taylors lights out :bears: Taylor has turned into a backpeddling, stinker of a fighter and that won't work against Pavlik.

Pavlik by 9th round TKO. Taylor will fight bravely and will hurt Pavlik with some shots but he will eventually wilt, and Like Eaner said their skill level is equal with strength and power edge to Pav.

Not as much as some of his other fights, but yeah I think he's always looked very solid.

If Taylor loses I wonder if they will use the weight excuse. since he already plans to move up in weight. Kind of like Miranda after Pavlik beat him down.

Agreed...don't remember my score but I had it either 7-5 or 6-6 or thereabouts. Very close fight.

    Remember...*Z* is a die-hard Wright fan.

You had it 7-5 who? Wright I bet cause Taylor sure as hell didn't win 7 rounds. Wright pressed the action, and threw and landed more punches. The fact that I am a winky fan doesn't make a difference, the majority thought Wright won.

No, my friend, I'm CONVINCED! Taylor is going to stop Kelley Pavlik at some point by first hurting him with a hard left hook and then finishing him of with a murderous combination, prompting the ref to stop the fight.

I see Pavlik Susceptible to that punch and Manny Stewart, who's smarter than me, would have seen this also. Remember manny is the same guy who orchestrated Lewis' first KO loss at the hand of Oliver McCall because he saw a chank in the armour that could be taken advantage of...

    Remember the words of....

    The Sly One...

I don't quite understand what this nonsense is supposed to mean. All I'm saying is that Jermaine taylor will take advantage of Pavlik's own aggression.

it means that there's plenty of couter examples in which Steward's strategic genius has failed to deliver.

Well....I don't consider a close fight a "gift" either way, which is what you literally said.

To me, "gift" = robbery, and I just don't think this is the case with this fight.

I'll rescore it because to be honest I don't remember my scorecard - but I do know it was very close. It's one of the few fights I didn't save my scorecard on!

Wright did alot of pushing, but I remember him opening himself up for alot of shots as well.

And once again, Wright took the foot off the gas in the last two rounds.

You also know that punch stats don't tell the story.

Believe me - I am not a big Taylor fan.

    I'll come back to you.

    Peace.

I'm not sure if Taylor's going to have a long reign if he wins...he might leave 160.

Baldomir is one tough guy with a hard head, which according to Kau, weighs 25 lbs.

Watching the Forrest fight, I was thinking, "What does Baldomir have in his head?"

Healthy hands or not, I don't think Mayweather would've stopped Baldomir.

probably. as much as people knock Taylor's close decisions those are better than any win Pavlik has. not to mention the competition.

I honestly wouln't be surprised if Pavlik beats Taylor. But I'm picking Taylor because he is more proven against better competition. Regardless how ugly or pretty it looks.

I also think Pavlik will have to ko Taylor. If Hopkins and Wright couldn't win a decision over him there is no way Pavlik will get it.

Taylor does throw a left hook and it sucks. When he throws it he throws himself off balance.Taylor's confidence seems to have gone the wrong way, not that it matters he is going to lose on Saturday anyways. :bears: "Taylor has beaten better opposition", yeah how many good punchers has he faced? Not to mention I didn't think he beat Wright or Hopkins.
