dude, is this a joke? all he does is wrestle and signal the ref. the guy's a fraud really. the significance of his holding, and his allowance to hold, cannot be underestimated. first fair fight against a legit guy? i guarantee he gets KTFO.

PBF is gonna cha-cha all over this grappler's face. Too bad to, as Ricky IS a very likeable guy, but Floyd is gonna have Ricky lookin like he went down on a bitch while on her period.

not funny. when all the british refs are gone, and the last minute crises against the likes of collazo, not to mention the beating he takes from PBF, are rolled up, castillo will be remembered as much the better fighter. and we all know he is. hatton got him at 140, with 10 oz. gloves, about 3 years past his best. good for him. it'll go down as his best win ever. big whoop. guy is still a hack.

Well yeah, Duran would have held at least as much but in addition he would have butted, elbowed and thrown some low blows in there

Might be, then a punishing elbow followed by a furious three-low-blow-combo would have finished him off right?

Hatton won 11 out of 12 in that fight.

i dont really understand all the hate. He's a likable guy, he throws 80 punches a round, and he's beaten some high quality guys.

People make him out to be some kind of Ruiz, which just isn't true

yeah it is! go watch one of his fights. a "second" time. watch it objectively. you WILL see that Hatton's primary tool is the clinch. figure it out. it's waiting for you to find out. the guy's a hack. he has you a billion Brits fooled. but he's just a wrastler. i'm not sayin he's not tough. or that he's not a bad-azz. don't get me wrong. but he's not my cup of tea, and the fact that i'll be rootin for PBF to slice him a second mouth is all the proof you should need. PBF will be lookin for the slice. it's not gonna be pretty? these guys know how to use em like knives. watch Raffy try to slice vazquez in desperation - throwin swipes , not punches, in close.

True, but it wasn't always so. He seemed to turn into Ruiz for the Tszyu fight and after witnessing the positive effects kept it up.

Your favorite fighter got wiped out in 4 by a "wrestler." :eek:ld:

What is with this guy and Hatton? You'd think when he knocked his favorite fighter out in under 4 it would have shut him the fuck up but no. :nono:

Check out the betting forum where I called him and Alabama Boy out when they were predicting Hatton's demise against Castillo. Anybody can talk shit but neither of them believed their own words.

Hatton is capable of being much better than this or the Collozio fight. My own theory, which violates Ockham's razor some what extensively is that Rickey's corner, and their need for him to be unbeaten are Ricky's biggest enemy. They convince him to fight this way as a safety measure.

But Rickey's people are smart enough to know they will make bank with Floyd that is unparalleled and they will let Hatton go so I doubt we will see the dry hump from Rickey that night. When Rickey doesn't dry hump he is very good.

hatton's a very good fighter. he might not be fun to watch, but all he does is win. hardly a 'hack' or 'fraud' if you ask me.
