The host is on Jimmy Kimmel right now. He said that he too thought Floyd deserved a better score, but that the judges were critical because (his words, or at least the judges words said through him) "while he seemed to perform well, it was technically flawed." The host and Jimmy Kimmel both thought Floyd did great, and Jimmy's unofficial prediction is that Floyd lasts until the finals, until losing to the race car driver.

I didn't see the show, for some reason the ABC affiliate out here decided to air last night and tonight's shows tape delayed. Last night was due to the Titans game being carried on ABC as well as ESPN (out here anyway, as every Monday for that fall time slot is dedicated to Titans recap), not sure why they didn't show it live tonight.

I thought Floyd was pretty good but I agreed with the woman judge that he was snapping the girl too hard and being kind of rough with her. I only watched him and the guy who went first. Anyone else think that guy looked a bit like Tom Brady?

Surprised nobody is mentioning how Floyd was throwing a bit of a temper tantrum at the dancer girl when they were practicing. Also - he looked very awkward trying to hold his smile as those three 6's were being read. You can tell that he isn't used to losing.

 

Floyd's doing the show to get the sales up for his upcoming mega-bout with Hatton.
