I know Fred just sent out this press release this morning, but for some reason I feel like I've already read it a few weeks ago. Didn't he alreay send out the same shit, only in that one also talking about Team Pac allegedly sending spies to Marco's camp?
Fred is getting out of hand with these things. Freddy denied ever having any tapes or a spy. He was shocked to read about it. c
yeah i never doubted that part for a second. Freddie Roach isn't above playing mind games (it's part of the sport), but I know all that shit was just Fred (Sternburg) being Fred.
has roach ever trained anyone noteworthy from scratch? or anyone for a long period of a time? only one i can think of is Virgil Hill, whom he trained soon after he turned pro coming outta the olympics.
uh oh,,,, Wasnt the last time a "secret punch" was unveilled during the build up to the first Paq-Morales fight? We all saw how that went...::
All these "Secret" or "New" Punches R BULLSHIT ... There's Only Sooooooooo Many Punches a Guy can Throw...Unless Pac GROWS a 3rd Arm, there's NATHAN he can Throw @ Barrera that he HASN'T Seen B 4... & Vice Versa... Boxing ISN'T Rocket Science... REED
Let's asume it's a bolo punch :dunno: how effective is that kind of punch? The last man I saw throwing one was Lennox Lewis against Tyson. And Pacquiao doesn't have a size advantage against Barrera.
I thought a bolo punch was nothing more than a disguised punch? A way to sway your opponent's focus and then hitting him with the hand he doesn't see coming?
:: Or the INVERSE of that Punch, the UpperJab???...Throw the Uppercut then Turn it Into a Jab... Maybe Manny Plans on BitchSlapping Barrera???:dunno: ... REED
That's How Sugar Ray Used it N the RE w/Duran...Roy Did Likewise N his Fight w/Brannon... It Almost ALWAYS Seems to B Used against an OUTCLASSED Opponent, when he's On the Brink of Being FINISHED...OR as a Means of EMBARRASSING your Foe... It's Usually Guys w/Superior Handspeed who even DARE to Try it... Sugar Ray Leonard Used it More than Any Fighter REED has Seen (REED Hasn't Seen alot of Kid Gavilan)...He would Use it as a Punctuator...Rip a Combo then Finish it w/a Bolo, just to Excite the Crowd... REED
Yep... Sweet Pea, Occassionally... It's like an HEIRLOOM Passed from 1 Flashy Black Fighter to Another... REED::
