    May your reign be a long and prosperous one, and you showed tremendous heart and determination getting off the floor like you did to come back and punch Taylor into oblivion.
    Your performance tonight ranks up there fight-wise with Monzon getting off the deck to beat Valdez, LaMotta KO'ing Dauthille, and Robinson getting off the floor to KO Graziano.
    I can't comment on the first two Zale-Graziano wars as I have never seen them, but this war has got to rank with best ever middleweight title fights.

    I picked Pavlik to ice taylor later, so I'm happy to see the result.

    If Taylor were any kind of finisher, Pavlik wouldn't have made it out of the 2nd round.

    Taylor has always been technically flawed and limited, but he always had heart and tried hard. A lesser fighter wouldn't have taken some of the shots he did.

    Great night for Kelly and a well deserved win for him.

    No seriously Karl has probably the worst defense in boxing forum's history. as soon as someone is just slightly against him - even if it is a glaring obvious point, like the one i made - he seems to see red... weak shit... :dunno:

    I always disliked Jermain Taylor. I was waiting for this fight with much anticipation expecting that Pavlik would give me the satisfaction of knocking him out silly. I almost had a heart attack in the second round, but by round seven I was howling like a wolf, jumping up and and down! Thanks Pavlik for my early Christmas present! I will be watching that TKO over and over for the next few days! :bears:

    I think the fight should be ruled a NC since Pavlik didn't throw the finishing combination from pefect balance but instead made so many mistakes that you could write a book out of them
