That was my first time seeing that guy Pavlik fight and it was an impressive stoppage coming back from the brink of disaster basically due to Taylor puncing himself out in round 2.

But the first thing I was struck by was how much bigger he looked than Taylor. Damn he looked like a light-heavyweight in there.

Do any of you guys think that Delayhoya, Hopkins or Winky should take him on?

He looks like the kind of guy who figures to be in a lot of exciting fights because he hits hard as hell and will always be vulnerable on the other hand because he certainly doesn't look like a skilled defensive fighter and Taylor who is hardly an assasin in the ring almost had him out early. I enjoyed that fight.

I believe Pavlik was 168 and Taylor was 166 or so, according to their unofficial weigh in

Yeah he sure looked more than 2 pounds bigger than Taylor. Does he fight in AC often? I know that Musze called him the new Gatti of AC in another thread. Like I said I've never seen him fight before. Not even the one against the Miranda guy who i've never seen before either.

I think that was his first fight in AC. He fought Bronko McKart somewhere on the East Coast, though I don't think it was AC.

Why the hell did Musze call him the new Gatti in AC then?

because he's an exciting white fighter that had the crowd at the AC fully supporting him. He'll probably fight there very often now.
