i thought Pavlik wouldn't have survived the 2nd round, and then Taylor's weakness as a finisher has become evident. I was actually rooting for Kelly, man, he's a strong dude if it weren't for that knockdown of his i would've thought Taylor can't hurt him and kelly's just gonna roll him over. but i got to admit kelly is slow and makes glaring mistakes, but the other side of his boxing is enough to accomplish what Hopkins and Wright can't do, knock Taylor out.

Yet Dawson still found himself climbing off the mat against some Steroid Freak Pole called Jzcwsesfkaws Paulahsuczwesy or something.

I had Pavlik all the way bro, look at the prediction thread and we talked about it on the show as well.
Too bad I am not a betting man as I would have laid it big on Kelly by TKO, but learned my lesson about doing that years ago.

I'll answer that question for you: 17.
But, I don't think a lot of them post here anymore.
If they do, they have changed their screenames.

In terms of excitment, I don't know that Pavlik-Taylor ranks as the best MW fight ever, but it certainly deserves to be among them considering all the factors involved.

But what should be crystal clear is that Pavlik came back from being seriously hurt to brutally stop a very competent MW Champion. The resolve and determination shown by Kelly is without question primetime stuff.

What is seemingly more important is his potential appeal for the sport. He's got that blue collar, small town attraction that often results in interest outside typical boxing fans. Combine that with a very crowd-pleasing style, and he may end up being a champion that gives the popularity of boxing a shot in the arm.

??? Taylor had never struck me as the unlikeable sort. Always seems gentlemanly and respectful. Even to Larry Merchant.
