Miranda simply because he has a way better chin. Everything else is about even. Which makes Miranda quite formidable, btw, as Echol's biggest weakness has always been his durability.
I'll go against the grain and pick Echols. In his "prime" Echols' chin wasnt THAT bad, and in terms of power I think Echols hit harder. If bum ass Allan Green could drop Miranda, I think Echols could put him out. Echols TKO 7 in a wild shootout that sees both hit the canvas. But in reality, its a pick em so a Miranda win is just as likely. Only thing thats for sure is that it wouldnt go the distance. BTW- I'd favor the Echols that fought Hopkins the first time to KO Taylor.
On paper, I'd give Abraham a better shot than Green of putting Miranda on his ass. We saw how that turned out. Echols' chin was/is shit. Just because it took Hopkins 22 rounds to finally get rid of him doesn't mean his chin was anything more than mediocre. It doesn't happen often, but with the exception of your stating the fight would be a shootout, I pretty much disagree with your entire post.
Ok. Maybe a lil bit of wishful thinking on my part since I was always an Echols fan. He's a wild dude. I remember cracking up that time when he was on The Judge Mathis Show.
oh shit, I completely forgot about that one :: Echols was a strange dude. I interviewed him a few times, and always felt like I was talking to Billy bob Thornton's character from Sling Blade. But he was fun as hell to watch when he was knocking mf'ers out on ESPN2
