    Yeah I thought that was nonsense.

    Before the fight, he was pulling the Oscar, "I haven't trained this hard in ages" type stuff.

    And everyone knew Marquez was a tough fight for Barrera and a big matchup years in the making.

    He trained hard for that and he'll train hard for Manny. It won't matter in the long run.

    I think it will be competive for a while but Manny's pressure will break him down again. Barrera is basically already thinking about retirement. When Manny starts hitting him, those ideas will come to the forefront of his mind.

    MAB had every right to be pissed off after the JMM fight. The scorecards were AWFULL and the ref fucked up to. As for the excuses it's not about believing them. All that matters is that the fighter believes them.

    My point was that clearly Barrera trained his ass off for the Marquez fight and thought he won so he shouldn't look back now and pretend he didn't even take it serious to begin with. That's the bullshit part.

    Any time you believe a fighter's excuse you are taking credit away from the fighter who beat him. Like all them distractions before the Pacquiao fight. Sure maybe they did play a part but some people actually believe that was the reason pacquiao beat him. you believe that too?:dunno:

    MAB UD. My reasoning? MAB wasn't himself in the first fight (big ASSUMPTION here...) I also think he was surprised by Pacquiao, he expected much less from him and he wasn't ready for that kind of challenge. I'm not 100% sure off course as Pac is clearly the logical pick but I guess I have a feeling we'll see an upset.
