Where did the next P4P king go....? :warning::dunno: http://www.fightbeat.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18403
dsimon writes: I pm'ed him and am wondering as well. :dunno: I had sold the house to finance his operation and he is nowhere to be found.
dsimon writes: Karl if you have a moment could you possibly use your connections to discreetly let us know about mr Tucker? That is if anything comes down the pipe.
I will just say everyone here got sick of that "pound for poud" shit dsimon, that was simply untrue. The kid is off the radar screen, do you see him fighting?
oh ok... I thought you were actually defending him. :: For what its worth, he posted another training clip on youtube a few days ago (i searched this morning since the question came up). it was his first one in two months or so. he was impressive with the jump rope (seriously) but he still doesn't look like he's anywhere near in fighting shape. not unless he's looking to wear a spare tire and campaign as a lightweight.
dsimon writes: yeah Tucker was a tough kid but the pimpley matador had him pissing in his pants. :blobbox:
dsimon writes: That seems to be the case Karl, no doubt. Also as Baron said I think the Matador had him spooked. Tucker was over the top at times. He seemed to think that due to his past glories he would just waltz in and get the red carpet treatment.... pissed Mike off in a big way. I guess I was just hoping he would do something impressive to match the braggato. But he does seem to have dissapeared.
dsimon writes: Hey thats what i do... I wear a spare tire, I just don't do no campaigning!:: ::. Seriously though sorry about your buddy Jake. Gambatti Kudosi bro (keep your chin up).
thanks dsimon. correct me if i'm wrong, but weren't you one of the few who regularly encouraged tucker? I thought you showed a lot more... not sure if respect is the right word, since he really didn't deserve any with all of his spamming... but you were one of the more open-minded posters regarding his potential comeback. Seems like he respected your posts, which always seemed to include compliments and/or constructive criticism.
dsimon writes: Absolutely. I try to respect all. No doubt he was over the top with the pound for pound stuff, but then again Dante used to walk through Chicago with a bull and tell everyone he was going to slaughter it with his bare hands to promote himself::.
