Atleast they appear to match up well in the size catagory.

If Roy loses , he better retire. If Tito wins , he better fight again.

Misleading, IMO. Tito & Bernard looked similarly sized at the weigh ins - Tito was dwarfed in the ring. In the ring Roy and Bernard looked the exact same size.

Roys gonna be by far the bigger man. Tito will also probably be flabby as fuck at 170lb, he was already softish at Middleweight.

 

Bernard was clearly taller overall and had a clearly taller shoulder height.
Roy will be larger for sure but , I think it won't be as offset as people think.

 

Ahhhh, but hang on - when did RJJ last KO a guy in any round, let alone early?
Clinton Woods, 5 years ago - and that was a 'stoppage'.

I don't think Trinidad will fold early - his punch resistance is pretty good as a rule....and I'm actually looking forward to this fight (even though id have liked to have seen it, circa 2001).

Interesting to see how Trinidad's one-pace & power is at 170lb compared to Jones Jr punch-resistance/reflexes in general.

Reminds me a bit like the mid-to-late 70s when Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Norton and all the rest were still fighting, albeit way past their best.

 

Even though they are both 5'11 I imagined ROy looking significantly taller because, well, he's a LHW and Tito is a career WW ::

However, by fight time Roy should have a fair few pounds on Tito and is used to fighting bigger men.

 

Tito DOESN'T have Clinton Woods' Chin...Not @ 170 & HIGHER, he Doesn't:nono: ...It's Doubtful Tito even has Hanshaw's Chin...

Tito has ALWAYS Been Relatively EASY to Hit & he DOESN'T have the Greatest Chin...

The ONLY Chance Tito has is a PUNCHER's Chance...& That's a SLIM 1...Guys R BANKING on the So-Called "Weakness" of Roy's Chin, but Roy was KO'ed by NATURALLY LARGER Men than Tito...
