In the post fight interview with Vanes Martirosyan, he claimed he had a slight nick over his right eye and he told referee Jay Nady, who he claimed replied that he was ahead in the fight. :laughing: At the moment Montiel is not lookin good in this fight with Melendez
This was a very good action fight, both guys went down but Montiel did pull away late then stopped him in the 12th, this fight alone was better than most of the ESPN2 FNF main events I have seen this whole season. As far as the Martirosyan post fight interview goes I don't know why any fighter would say that a ref told him he was ahead in between rounds, It was obvious he was shutting the guy out, he pretty much put Jay Nady on blast over a nick over his right eye
