Moscow, Russia October 9--- American super flyweight star Jose Navarro (26-2, 12 KO’s) has never been more prepared for a fight. The 2004 Olympian will go up against Dimitri Kirolov (28-3, 9 KO’s) for the vacant IBF Super Flyweight title on Saturday night, October 13th at Khodynka Ice Palace in Moscow, Russia. <!-- m -->http://www.fightbeat.com/news_details.php?NW=20501
That was then: Then-DBE VP David Itschkowitz made the trip to Japan, rather than Lou, to ensure that everything would be on the up and up for Jose's fight with Kawashima. This is now: DBE VP Carl Moretti will make the trip to Russia, rather than Lou, to ensure that everything will be on the up and up for Jose's fight with Kirilov. :dunno:
:dunno: Incredible, isn't it? Navarro has a very good chance against Kirilov...needs to remain aggressive.
What the hell does "won't get fooled again" mean? Does that mean he's not going to fight a champion in his hometown again? He's already bought his ticked to Russia. Oh yeah! CSI Miami was on last night. Worst title for an article since "Immortal Beloved."
What's worse, he went back to Japan a year after the Kawashima fight, this time losing a legitimate decision against Tokuyama. Funny how the press release glosses over that (as well as the other part I mentioned earlier in the thread)
