What a great fight....totally undecided on this one but will be by fight time (which means, by the staredown  ).

    Who wins, people?

if guzman shows up well prepared then i'd pick him to win on points. if not (which could be a likely case) i see soto punishing him late en route to a decision.

Guzman by UD! he is more talented and more proven. :cheer: Obviously Soto is a live underdog but no way should he be the favorite. :nono:

i could be in your corner and in the 3rd round, i would quit fightbeat, smash you with a chair on top of your head then join 15rounds resulting in marc's victory.

Joan Guzman wins this one easy. Soto is overrated.

Guzman by decision seems like the safe pick.

agreed. People make Guzman out to be some world dominating force in boxing but truth be told ever since he left 126 he has been so so at best. Barrios and Davis both showed us that Guzman either has stamina issues or ADD or both because the second half of fights he seems to go into some trance where he feels he has to showboat.

I really wish the Guzman/Katsidis fight hadn't been cancelled. That would've been an awesome fight.

Great fight and great job to both camps for getting it done!:bears: :cheer:

    I agree with Donnybrook, I don't have a clue as of now:lol:

I think Guzman is the safe bet, but yes, you can't underestimate Soto. Did I clear everything up?

And for fuck's sake, neither one of these guys are overrated!:nono: Besides hardcore boxing fans and their hometowns neither guy is even known. Everyone on this board like to throw out the "overrated" term on this board on every fighter, its getting plain stupid. Pull your heads out your ass and get ready for a great fight!:stir:

guzman sort reminds me of toney. he's great when he's on and has awesome defense, but he takes rounds off and can be outworked. i question his stamina and work ethic.

I'm picking Soto. To me Guzman is like Judah, all style and no substance and I think Soto's more fundamental style will prevail. On top of that I hate Guzman.
