FightBeat has learned that Pro Female Boxer Cristy “Code Red†Nickel has just agreed to sign a management agreement with Fighbeat’s own David Selwyn. Nickle’s record is 7-5 with 4 knockout wins. Cristy recently took a hiatus from the sport to appear as a boxing coach on MTV’s hit reality show “MADE’. Thanks to Cristy’s tremendous success on the show, she was able to relocate to the “Big Apple†and has become a one of the most sought out personal trainers in the United States. Now back in boxing training herself, Cristy would love to leave the same great impression on the New York boxing scene “I’m real excited to sign with David. I've seen Cristy a few times. Best of luck with her, David. Though I have to say, her best days may have already past her. Then again, training and living in the right environment might make a huge difference. Anyway, best of luck with her

Now I remember her as she coached the latina girl that lost a decision in that particular series. Jake makes a great point and I think a new trainer and environment are in order. If David can bankroll her, I would say the Savannah Gym in Houston where she can work with top flight trainers in a family environment alongside world champions and world ranked contenders. I can tell she loves boxing and has a great passion for it, but her career success probably has suffered from lack of high quality trainers and fundamental instruction. I like her a lot, she is a go person and that is my kind of fighter.

We have a lot of good women fighting in this town and good trainers . She should be able to get some good work here . She has no amateur background,so she is still a work in progress.
