With all these Diaz' running around, much to my chagrin... I made an error that I am sure will become standard, if the Diaz' continue to succeed in the lightweight division.

As I told Donny, I was under the impression up until 4 hours prior to the fight that Juan Diaz was in fact fighting David Diaz and not Kidd Diaz.  I expected to see a looping Southpaw...imagine my suprose to see the slick boxing Julio instread! Duhhhhh!

Let me just thank the Stinger as through his efforts I know at least one, and probably the most talented Diaz in the division, by first name. This is more invaluable than it may first appear as I learned. I think what confused me was that the fight was in Chicago, the place where David Diaz fights out of.

As I was writing my post-fight report, I went back and referenced the round-by-round I kept throughout the fight. It was then that I noticed the two dozen or so times where I simply put Diaz rather than Juan or Julio  ... luckily it was one-sided enough to where it wasn't that difficult to decipher. Still, it's tough in sport where fighters are most often referred to by last name.
